Powertron PM9086 NiCd Power Pack
This power pack was actually about 1/4" shorter in length than the original power pack to my Fluke 97 so I had to do a little fabricating in order to assure a good secure connection. What I did was to simply cut out a small piece of perfoard that would fit nicely in the rear of the battery compartment (opposite the end with the charging contact), and secure that to a small piece of thin scrap metal that was tapped out to accomodate a couple of short 6/32 screws. Those tapped holes were spaced out so that the ends of the 6/32 screws would make contact with the rear of the battery pack. After that, I plugged in the wall transformer to the scope, and the power pack charged like the original.

Fluke 99B Scopemeter Battery
The product was as described in the advertisement a direct fit for the scopemeter. The battery charged well and the use on a charge was very good.Well worth the money.
