How to remove to install battery?

Mine is easy......it FALLS APART each time I open it to use. Not happy that I have it!,,

How do you install the battery? It says to open the compartment at the bottom but it won't open.

It slides. The grey part, where the blade is...pull that straight up while holding the pink casing. Replace the battery and slip it right back in. Badda boom, badda bing...
