The same buddy loops used by my physical therapist
I purchased the 1/2 inch loops as they are the exact same ones given to me by my physical therapist who happened to run out of them. They are soft, comfortable, slightly stretchy and the Velcro holds unlike the other brand of buddy loops I mistakenly ordered. Iām so happy I was able to find these.

Works as intended
My daughter dislocated her finger playing volleyball, and after getting it reset, the hand specialist suggested using this wrap to keep her finger stabilized until he could assess whether surgery would actually be needed. Definitely easier to use than trying to tape two fingers together.

Great ... While They Last (About a Month)
I was recommended these as an alternative to using plain old medical tape, and in that sense they've been a success. Instead of using up 30 or so days-worth of tape, I used up 5 of these bands. However, by the end of those 30 days the plastic part that attaches to the velcro was sticking out on all of the bands. Why is that a problem?Well, you have these things wrapped around your fingers, so if a hard plastic part sticks out, it constantly colides with whatever your hand passes. Plus, if you're like me you'll find yourself constantly trying to press them flat, which makes for a new (annoying) habit. In terms of enviornmental impact I'm honestly not sure which is worse: using these or using 30 days of tape. But either way, don't buy these expecting them to last longer than that: they're too cheaply made.P.S. Also the actual bands themselves sort of shrink in places after use. So you wind up with bands that hug a bit too tightly (at the parts that shrink).

Recommended by hand surgeon
I have a fractured base of finger left hand and hand surgeon handed me splint straps in his office ā but only 2 of them. He told me not to get them wet. How can I do that? So I looked on Amazon to try to match the straps he gave me, and much to my surprise upon delivery. They were the exact same straps. A package of 5. I am so thrilled. Now if I get them wet, I can dry them out between use. Great to have them.
