Torani Sugar Free Coconut Syrup, 750ml

I've bought dozens of bottles of Torani. However, both the flavor and consistency is a fail. It's like water, not like the other more syrupy viscosity. The smell is strange, not pleasant or appetizing. And the flavor is definitely not appetizing or like coconut. I've loved all the Torani's I've bought but this one really bombs. I bought because of the star rating. Wish I'd read the reviews. Don't know how they can list a high rating with so many bad reviews. I do not recommend this. In fact it's going in the garbage. Buy another flavor and spare yourself the disappointment.

I like coconut bubble tea, Pina Coladas, and even coconut ice cream. I bought this because I was hoping to make coconut slushies at home. However, this syrup just isn't that good. It tastes quite artificial. It's not disgusting but I don't think I will be finishing the bottle. The smell and taste remind me too much of suntanning lotions, and not in any good way. I'll probably try some coconut bubble-tea powder instead for my slushies. Overall, I cannot recommend this syrup. I ordered the sugar-free one, possibly the regular one tastes better.

I can’t recommend the Torani sugar-free syrups enough if you’re on a low carb diet like I am. My newest fave is the coconut and, despite all the social distancing now, I imagine myself in Hawaii sipping my morning coffee. I’ve never been disappointed in a Torani flavour and the value for money buying these via Amazon is amazing. Even better when they’re a special running! My preference are the glass bottles and they always arrive incredibly well packaged in bubble wrap with the cushioned bottles in their own cardboard boxes. Delivery is also super fast on Prime.

I bought this for my coffee as a way to add a coconut flavour since I can no longer injest caffeine. I was initially puzzled by the taste. The smell was there but the taste was off putting. I tried it a few more times and realized the chemicalized taste was what I had. I got the sensation of artificial flavouring coating my mouth. I have used other products similar to this in the past with better success. This is disappointing as I will.be discarding the remnants of the bottle soon. I should have read the description better where it said it was sweetened with Splenda and I would have steered clear of this.

I got this in addition to the chocolate Torani syrup with the hopes of making a Mounds bar latte. Alas, the coconut flavour isn’t strong at all and I was left with a super sweet latte tasting of chocolate and a *hint* of coconut. This syrup is like the LaCroi of syrups lol it was made in the same room as a coconut 🥥.
