Our daughter started enjoying this from age 2. She is now 4 riding her own bike, absolutely brilliant, cannot recommend enough! Gets you and the kids out in the fresh air, best thing for them. So many happy memories with this. People always love to see us out and about on it. It isn't cheap but it's very well made and worth every penny! All the parts can be replaced.

Full disclosure, I got one of these second hand from a neighbour of mine, for a fraction of the price. I was originally sceptical about how these are so expensive new, but when I got my hands on one, it was clear to see why Shotgun charge a premium. I'm an engineer and I was seriously impressed with the quality of this thing. From the quality of the materials, to the machined adjustment nuts, to the brass washers in the hinge sections. This thing is OVER engineered!!! Yes they are expensive, but you definitely get your money's worth. It's clear that this was engineered with a full focus on kids comfort and engagement instead of churning out a product as cheap as possible. I love how it doesn't contact my bicycle frame because I was conscious of it rubbing away the paintwork over time. I also love how easy it was to install (Trek Marlin 7) and it can be removed in seconds. I love how it came with two headset spacers so I can choose to have it on my bike or my partners. But most importantly, my kid LOVES it. He was always bored in his bucket seat at the back of the bike because he couldn't see anything, but now he always wants to go biking because he can see everything and he is much more involved with his own "handlebars". Top product from a trusted brand.

I was hesitant to spend this much on a shotgun seat, but glad I did. The design and quality is excellent. My boy is already quite big, but with the adjustable legs and weight rating he we will get a lot of use out of it. Added bonus it comes with a second attachment spacer for my wife’s bike, so we can swap the seat between bikes in seconds.

I normally don't wrote reviews, but KRS(Kids Ride Shotgun) deserves this! I bought this in June 2022 to go biking with my son around a campground. He absolutely loved it. The pro is so much easier to set up(after you get the ring spacer on the headtube) than the original seat. The seat is super adjustable, tube position, seat angle, even the foot brackets have multiple angles to choose from. My boy and I have had dozens of little adventures on this product, and I can tell you there are very few sports you can take a 4 year old with you. Hiking, kayaking, and biking. This bike seat gives you an experience, and builds such a huge bond with your child. He always wants to go for a bike ride in the woods. Just loves it. Now, to the reason I need to leave a review. Fast forward a few months after purchase, and a safety concern arises. I contact KRS warranty department if there was a fix before we try to claim warranty. They asked for a video or pictures, and video if possible. I honestly ignored, because I didn't want to send the product back. They emailed me a SECOND TIME asking to fill out the warranty information! I don't believe many companies care enough to try and help you through warranty. Most places I deal with through work, wouldn't bat an eye if you just stopped trying. They want happy customers, and happy little riders! Very friendly through email. Best of all, they didn't ask for the bike seat back for warranty. I woke up to an email with a replacement part on order, covered for warranty, and tracking will be updated this week! Honestly, I can't praise them enough for how hassle free this was, and I'm hopeful to have us back on the bike before all of the falleaves drop! Thank you KRS team! You've given me a summer with my son that nearly nothing else can provide!(kayaking is the only other, and even then, it's too slow for most children. Luckily mine Is very outdoorsy and loves both biking and kayaking!)

This is probably the best designed and built thing I’ve bought in a long time! Yes, it’s a little pricey, but as soon as you open the box you realize that it is truly a well made item and you received your money’s worth and then some. Amazingly adjustable and easily installed and moved back and forth between bikes. Would give this 10 stars if that option was available. My little girl loves it!

Per il momento posso solo dire che è uno spettacolo. Non dovevo montarlo su una mountainbike come in genere si fa, ma su una normalissima bici da donna degli anni 70. Nel mio caso è servito montare uno spessore sul manubrio per fissare l'anello del kit, per il resto e plug n play, si aprono due viti si regolano le distanze la prima volta, e poi via. L'articolo è solido, e davvero semplice da rimuovere in caso non lo si voglia lasciare sulla bici. Anzi forse questa è l'unica pecca, non esiste un sistema per fissarlo e rendere poco agevole la sua rimozione (per lasciarlo sulla bici anche quando parcheggiata in giro). Il manubrietto per il piccolo non è presente nella confezione, ma gliene monterò uno per permettergli una presa più salda.
