I have used plastic before and they break after a while. These stainless steel clips will last a lot longer.

I bought these to use as clamps for quilting assembly. They fit my table fine, the clamps open to about 3.5". They are very clean with no machine oil or dirt on them. Not for heavy duty use, like carpentry, as the metal is a little thin but this makes them light weight and they work fine for my purpose, and were reasonably priced.

These clothes clips are huge. The only downfall with them is that I feel they should have a rubber tip on the end so when I hang my crochet projects the end won’t get caught in my stitches and damage my project. I think these are great for hanging quilts and other types of blankets. They did work great when I hung my sleeping bags even during the strong wind. Definitely worth the money. Got them sooner than expected. They are sturdier and larger than the white and blue clothes pins from dollar tree. Will definitely be ordering more in the future.
