I recently purchased Fluker's Medley Treat for Aquatic Turtles, and I am thrilled with how much my turtles love this mix! This treat has quickly become a favorite in their diet. Pros: Variety of flavors: The combination of river shrimp, mealworms, and crickets provides a delightful variety that keeps my turtles engaged and excited at feeding time. They eagerly gobble it up! High nutritional value: I appreciate that this treat is not just tasty but also nutritious. It offers essential proteins and fats that contribute to my turtles’ overall health and well-being. Convenient packaging: The 1.5 oz package is easy to store and keeps the treats fresh. The resealable bag is a nice touch, allowing me to maintain freshness for longer. Great for training: I use these treats as a reward during training sessions, and they work wonderfully! My turtles respond well to the incentive, making it easier to teach them new behaviors. Cons: Odor: Like many dried animal products, there is a noticeable odor when opening the bag. While it doesn’t bother me, it might be a consideration for those sensitive to smells. My turtle loves these of course 🥰 I would say it is worth your money, I got the smaller one bc this is protein/snack NOT AN EVERYDAY ALL THE TIME FOOD, so I give it to my turtle a couple times a week, the smell isn’t strong or funky it just smells like the typical freeze dried mealworms. It also has freeze dried crickets, and freeze dried river shrimp of different sizes. Most of them come whole. Crude protein not less than 58% crude fat not less than 12% crude fiber not more than 7% moisture not less than 8.75%. My turtle digests them just fine. The color and taste I would say is fine. 100% recommend 🤗 will buy more when I run out of these 🙏🏼
