Hooked one these up between my Games PC and my 4k TV to enable the PC case to sit more closely to the wall. I can't say I've noticed any difference in picture quality at all (which is what I'd expect and hope for).

Very pleased with these adapters and appreciate that they face in different directions. I bought theses as my TV is up on my wall and to hide the cables they are inside the wall and for easy access the HDMI is at the bottom of the wall next to a socket. I recently bought drawers to place against the wall under the TV but the HDMI lead when plugged in sticks out way to much to allow this. The upward facing adapter solved this problem excellently. My dwars side back against the skirting board and the wires don't have any strain in them as they now side at a 90° angle. Picture on TV is still great. No problems so far.

I’d heard a lot about there being issues when attempting to join or lengthen hdmi cables, i.e. potential loss of audio/visual quality, occasional glitches etc etc. As my tv had one hdmi input on the rear panel, there was a need to leave a lot of extra space when wall mounting, to avoid the cable bending against the wall at a nasty angle. This always bothered me as it detracted from the whole point of wall mounting when the tv has to be set 3 additional inches or more away from the wall to make use of the 4th input.Using one of these right angle adaptors virtually solves the problem, enabling you to take out the spacers and set the tv much closer to where it was intended to be. As for the audio/visual quality……no difference.Six quid well spent!
