Q: There's a white residue film floating on the top of the water after I sterilize the trays by boiling. What is this film, and should I be concerned?

Hi and thank you for your question. The film you are seeing could be a few different things. It may possibly be a resideue from the releasing agent they put on the forms in the manufacturing process. It could also just be dust from the warehouse prior to being placed in the poly bag or just even something in your water. We have had our trays independently tested at an outside testing facility to verify purity of the silicone and to ensure they are free of harmful substances. Q: Will these fit in the opening of the Kiinde bags?

The bars are approximately 3/4" x 3/4". I used a wooden ruler so this may not be a perfect measurement.
