Good value

I don't know about the weight management or detox component, but I do very much like this 'tea'. You could certainly buy all of the ingredients organically yourself and make a big batch, but I've calculated out the make-it-yourself cost, and well, the price point for this product isn't a stretch. I notice there are people who complain about the flavor? Why? Look at the product--it is what it is. These little seeds and pods, they are what they are, and the flavoring has little to do with the efforts of the vendor? Personally, I found the tea to be perfectly balanced and nicely (gently) flavored. The cumin stands out as the primary flavor, almost floral when paired with fennel and coriander. My stomach appreciates the fennel for sure, it's very soothing. I don't know if I've lost weight or not, I didn't buy it for that purpose--but I definitely have not gained weight. Also, I drink it in the evenings, and that does seem to curb further appetite. Still, I simply got it because I get tired of the same old herbal teas. I'm pleased. I'd buy it again. It is important to let it steep though, at least 5 minutes or more. I usually give it 10 minutes and go do something else while it's steeping. Also, I prefer to use closer to two tablespoons, and I keep adding hot water for multiple cups.

I take this product in the spring to help detox from all the heavy, bulky foods we eat in the winter. This product is not only flavorful, but it helps with bloating, digestion and it even helps clear my skin. Totally recommend it.

I have to say that I'm not reviewing this brand - I'm just really puzzled as to why it's for sale at all. I also started drinking this tea from the Prime book and I like the tea, but why on earth buy an expensive mixture when it's literally just seeds? If it was in teabags I'd jump on it, but it isn't. I buy organic fennel, coriander and cumin seeds and throw about a teaspoon of each into a French press. I've put them together in a bag for travel and found that the proportions get thrown off. The only reason I even saw this is because I was buying my triphala and it popped up. Save yourself some money and buy the seeds!
