This lathers up without a brush, I just use my fingers and rub it on vigorously it thickens up and spreads well providing a great shave. My razor glides through this excellently and it leaves my skin fresh, soft and moist, I know I sound like a stupid advert but I am not exaggerating. This works better than any shaving foam in a can or even any shaving oil in a bottle that I have tried from different manufacturers over the years. I really like it and although you only need a small amount and it will last a long time I will buy this again when it is all used up. For reference: I use an old fashioned style safety razor with this cream, you know the single disposable razor blade type that you mount in a permanent handle, I find the shave is excellent and there is little waste using this method of shaving. No expensive disposables producing plastic waste or over priced wasteful subscriptions with 5 million blades that are not needed.

Top stuff for a great shave. Good quality. Nice creamy texture and really aids against skin burn. I have repurchased this same product on several occasions and is my favourite shave gel.

Seems okay so far, not as foamy as I would like but smells great and does help smoothen out a shave.

My partner has been using this for over 6 months so felt it was time to give a review. He uses the shaving balm, moisturiser and the aftershave balm. I can honestly say his behalf, this has been the best men's sensitive formula that works. He always got the neck rash after shaving and the dryness despite using moisturiser. I got him into Nivea, because I just copied my mum, who always uses it and she is in her 80s but her skin is so good. This is why I always recommend the products, but this was a game changer for men. His face has been so much more fresher, softer and the smell is divine. He has to use a breathing mask at night and its left dryness where the bands sit, however the moisturiser has helped to eradicate that now. This is best product i have found for using on my head , I pair this with head blade moto head razor and it keeps any razor burn down to an absolute minimal and works very well in the lather its rare i cut my skull/head now when shaving . I have never shaved my face with it because i use another product but this was recommended to me for my head. Price is worth it without doubt the bottle has a locking mechanism on pump which has broken for me before and just stuck so not best design on that front. A little seems to go a long way as last a few while. Once i started using this i stopped trying to find anything better to do that job which is probably as good a compliment as i can give it.

I prefer shaving with a shaving brush and hot water due to my heavy beard. Fortunately, I don't have sensitive skin. Over the years, I have explored many shaving creams. Over the years, I have consistently found tube-based shaving cream to deliver the best results, prompting me to stick to this type of shaving cream. This NIVEA shaving cream would be in my top 10. It is hard to get good shaving creams. This is one of the good ones. The NIVEA is a kind of cream, which removes oils from beard. Some may find it harsh, but it was fine me. I prefer shaving creams which remove oils for a good clean shave. It is n't a creamy moisturising type. I like this shaving cream, so should not be taken as negative. Fragrance: It is n't strong. I would say subtle. I am not someone who uses after shave or moisturiser. . Just a good clean shave and a shower. Having previously loved Gillette's shaving cream in tube form, I faced disappointment when they stopped making them in tube-form. Not a fan of foam or gel shaving creams, I've experimented with several other expensive products that failed to meet expectations. This NIVEA shaving cream in pump down, is a great performer and delivering a great shave. In my quest for that perfect shave, I've explored various brands, such as Proraso, Tabac, Williams, Lea, Palmolive, and Taylors of Bond, all in tube or canister forms. I have tried both expensive and inexpensive products. This product is very good and you will be happy to buy it again.

After 30+ years I started getting razor rash on my face and neck for the first time. Nothing in my shaving regime had changed, as even though I'd always had sensitive skin, I'd weeded out all the nasty things I couldn't use. But lately everything was irritating me. I saw this and gave it a go and straight away knew the issue was solved. I even got the moisturiser I was so impressed. The pump style dispenser is perfect for lazy DE shavers like me as you can simply "Top Load" your brush and apply to a wet face. For me a pea sized blob is good for 3 to 4 passes no problem. Hope this helps. UPDATE: This is the second one and the pump dispenser is a load of bollox. Both failed to work with stuff still in the bottle so had to pour out onto the brush. Pity.

I have been using this for a couple of years now. I have very dry skin but this doesn’t irritate or dehydrate my skin like gels and foams. Plus I get a good clean shave with quite a small amount. It also doesn’t clog up my razor. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it
