Large is apparently this maker's medium
Although I would normally order a medium, I took the seller's advice, ordered a large, and it fit perfectly. Great shorts, but I can't for the life of me understand why they cost so much. I have found nothing unique about these shorts, nothing extraordinary. I guess I just took the risk that they'd be something truly special. In my view they are overpriced. $30-35 would be more reasonable.

Waay to big
Chubbies are supposed to be thigh huggers and even though I purchased two sizes smaller than I would normally wear these "smalls" are still loose at the waist and thigh.

Overall Good Pair of Shorts
My husband loves his chubbies swim shorts and even wears them as regular shorts so I decided to get him a pair of these. He typically wears a large and I will say these were a little more snug than the other pair he has but that may be because of the style. An XL fits him very well and they are very comfortable.
