Not just plastic- read description :)
Easy installation, makes swing comfy with a bounce and some give to the swinging experience. Would like green parts to match black parts- was going to paint them black, decided to leave well enough alone- don't really notice the green as much as I thought. Pricey but worth it to us as we enjoy our porch frequently.

The green brackets that latch the whole unit to the ceiling are plastic. Hope they last!!!

be aware these parts are plastic, not metal
I was surprised to find out that the parts are actually plastic, not metal. Kind of scary. Also, no screws to screw into the wood included. Make sure you get screws.
