Ready Seal 500 Clear, 5-Gallon Exterior Wood Stain and Sealer, 5 Gallon

I sprayed mine not much wind blowing when I did which was good ! I sprayed with a larger tip than they recommended and it was good! No runs when it dried!Applied in early March checked it yesterday still beading water like it should! Mix it well very easy to apply clean up on spray gun that's another story! Would definitely recommend!

Best stuff for you fence! Super easy to apply. They say it's Goof Proof, and YES ! it is. Highly recommend. I'm 60 years old and used a roller and pan to stain the fence. Wow, so easy it paints on like water and absorbs into the wood like magic! Looks great!

Excellent coverage

Easily applied to our deck with roller & extended handle. Works immediately after application as the rain water beaded up as it was supposed to. A good product.

I am very satisfied with the application of Ready Seal. This was a put on a replacement wood deck. The previous one had been there for 30 years. We put the new deck down in the late spring and I waited three months before the application of the sealer. I wanted a product that I thought would protect the wood for sometime. I was impressed with the high reviews of Ready Seal. I advise avoiding the cheap products, as a saying goes “you get what you pay for.“ My local hardware store only carries the 1 gallon sealer cans. Ready Seal suggest 1 gallon will cover 125 ft.² but I found the coverage to be much more that. A 5 gallon container of Ready Deal is a LOT cheaper than five 1 gallon cans. Plus it was delivered to my front door. I suggest that you obtain a cheap siphon pump that is good for water/gasoline. This is much better than trying to pour it out into a paint tray. I also used Shur-Line 9 inch paint pads for application and thought that this was effective and not as messy as a paint roller. 3 days after the application we got rain and the sealer effectively repelled the water. I am pleased with the sealer and plan to use it on follow-up applications.

Everything was spot on for clarity and consistency. Applied well. Everything is now waiting for how it holds up. I will try to update next year

This is the first time I've ever used this product line and was blown away by the results so far. Application was simple and so far the results are excellent. I used a pressure sprayer for application and used 4 gallons to cover my new red cedar deck, stairs and wrap around lattice BUT it didn't need this much I admit. I could have easily cover all of this with 1 to 2 gallons but I laid down at least 5 coats. It has now been 2 days since I applied the clear stain and it is still drying but the wood looks so rich and clean. So far I am very pleased with the results and would recommend using this product.
