When blending soft type fruits for a smoothie leaves small chunks even if timer runs twice. Can handle no more than 8oz of fluid. Does not "chop" ice, but rather scrapes it. Motor not strong enough. So if you want to add flavoring to milk and mix it up and get it frothy. This does that. Better to invest it a true blender for anything else.

They say in add you can blend up to 8 smoothies in one charge. Not true. I charged all night and I bately finished 1 smoothie and it died. Buy another brand.

Had issues with other shaker bottles that came with a metal blender ball to mix my protein shake, those always left me with sticky clumps at the bottom or the side of the bottle, and then, cleaning them took quite a bit of effort. This machine I am using strictly for a protein shake, shuts off automatically in 30 seconds, leaves no residue and cleaning is just a one-click tap on the button, and whoosh, rinse and it's cleaned. An extremely efficient way to make a protein shake with no clumps. There is a little bit of a hazard on this though that one should be careful of, the blades are not attached to the bottle but the base and since there is a likelihood of the machine sometimes running on its own due to jerk or accidental push on the button which could accidentally mince your fingers, I wouldn't leave it open at all. I would keep the bottle always attached to the base to mitigate such hazards. Other than that risk factor, this is a very fantastic piece of machine.

gave it as a gift to my nephew and he uses daily. Took it with him overseas and had a blast with it.

Would be 5 stars if you could put an ice cube in it, but it can't tolerate even a single piece of ice which makes summer smoothies out. It will work for breakfast I guess Disappointed given the reviews I'd read.

I read some of the other reviews that talked about it not being able to do ice. I never tried that - so I don't know. But I wanted it for making smoothies from powder, with a banana added, on the road. And it is wonderful for that.One bit of advice - don't try to help it by stirring at the beginning. I did that and unscrewed the blade - if you really need to, stir counterclockwise :) .Anyway, I can speak to non-ice smoothie making and I couldn't ask for more. It's lightweight enough to throw in your suitcase. I'm very happy with it.

its a nice little easy to clean blender,, make your own smoothie creations ,, I thought i was buying a lemon when I took it out of the box and it powered rite up - worked fine , so I broke it down to clean and charge ,, when I put it back together I didnt line up the line on the glass with the switch and didnt know to push the power button twice to work thought it was junk ,, but I do those 2 things now and it works great ,, love this thing
