A Beacon of Inspiration
"Delivering Happiness" is nothing short of a beacon of inspiration that left an indelible mark on my perspective. Tony Hsieh's journey, eloquently penned in this short yet powerful read, transcends the realms of business, extending into the profound pursuit of happiness in all aspects of life. The narrative weaves a captivating tale of intertwining passion, purpose, and profits, transforming conventional notions of success. Hsieh's insights offer more than just a blueprint for entrepreneurial triumph – they resonate with the universal quest for fulfillment and joy. What struck me most was the genuine and relatable approach, making the pursuit of happiness accessible to everyone, not just those navigating the corporate landscape. The narrative encourages self-reflection and a recalibration of priorities, urging readers to seek joy not just in their careers but in every facet of their existence."Delivering Happiness" transcends its role as a business memoir; it stands as a testament to the transformative power of finding purpose and passion. Tony Hsieh's wisdom has left an enduring impact, inspiring me to embark on my own journey towards a life rich in happiness and purpose. A must-read that has the potential to reshape perspectives and ignite the pursuit of a fulfilling life.

Inspirational story in an easy to read format...not to mention some great words of wisdom!
You can spend so much time reading the hard, formal, theoretical books that have some interesting anecdotes, tools and tips. But if you need a break for the heavy lifting of personal development but do not want to waste your time on trash reading then this is the perfect book for you.Not often can you enjoy a great read and still take away a number of learnings...in fact this will challenge most people to do more, do it differently and do it now than many other business books. At its very core this is a simple story about a very passionate group of people that have delivered a dream. Scratch deeper and you find a book that is broken into 3 key sections:1. Profits;2. Profit and Passion;3. Profits, Passion and PurposeTony Hsieh shares his personal jouney, warts and all, and we learn about many things in the process. Things like committing fully to your dream and vision, inspiring those around you, never giving up, focusing on your customers, developing a strong culture, keeping the right people and creating a business model that is sustainable in the short and long term. Sounds so simple...and it is...but harder to put into practice each and every day. Reading this book will not give you the tools, models and frameworks of a HBR but it is not suppose to. What it will give you is a renewed sense of passion, purpose and the desire to create profit...What more could you ask for!

No Kindle
My comment is to NOT read this book in the Kindle version!! It is written in a cartoon format and you CANNOT adjust the font size. I literally read the entire book using a magnifying glass. Even with that, the particular font style used was not always easy to decipher. Needless to say, this overshadowed my enjoyment of the book. It is an uplifting story though and lets you realize anyone can create their own happiness.

An enjoyable read
This is an entertaining "fly on the wall" account of the authors journey from his first failed and successful businesses up to the sale of Zappos to Amazon.com for ~us$1bn. As an entreprenuer I had previously been inspired by many aspects of Zappos' culture and this book gives more of the background to that. I think the biggest takeaway is to learn just how close (and how often) Zappos' was to failure as it grew to finally turn a profit, around five years after it was started.Based on the headlines, it had seemed to me that the author had led a charmed life, turning his midas touch from one business to another. Turns out the truth is very different and author is just as human as the rest of us with the main difference that he has made some very big bets in his life, bets which very nearly went bad. Personally I found this very inspiring.

This is a comic book! Incompatible with kindle format.
Amazon description did not specify this is a comic book. It is not in traditional Kindle page format, more like screenshots of each page of an actual comic book. It is very difficult to read, it cannot be zoomed in, can only be hyper zoomed with the magnifying bubble. I would have bought the real kindle formatOf the original book, had I known. Very frustrated.

Quick and surprisingly engaging.
I thought the chance to purchase on of the business world's must read books in graphic novel form would be a novel idea. Turns out I read the whole thing in one setting. I don't know if the book itself have more detail, but I loved how engaged I was. I realized it was because I really wanted to know how people succeed. And then at un-forewarned moments the book would throw an insightful nugget in the mix and inspire you to change your whole method to becoming happy and successful. I'm willing to bet you'd find helpful moments the author just threw in to move the story forward, but becomes a Swarmi moment to you. Loved that it was a quick read and had great info!

Spreading happiness
This book made me happier, just by reading it.When a book does that for a person, has met the ultimate goal of transforming that person.Incredible way of inspiring, putting knowledge, and further more, teach you on such credible set of frameworks.Hopefully, more writers use this tool to better teach others their innovative proposals. Thanks Tony and their team for putting a piece of your life into the greatest investment of all: Delivering Happiness.P.d.I will need to arrange a tour and get some book copies for my staff.

I guess I ordered this "book" a little too hastily ...
I guess I ordered this "book" a little too hastily...I had meant to order the original softcover book, not the cartoon picture magazine-type book. While it was interesting, it was not what I was looking for and not, in my opinion, worth the ^^price.

Delivering happiness
I first heard about Zappos in Oxford last August on a week long course, where one of the presenters talked to us about how everyone sits in the same open plan office there, including the CEO where everyone can speak to any level of management and where new ideas are welcome. All companies can learn from how this group of friends came up with their core values, which by the way are basic common sense, that company values, goals don't have to be big words or business jargon, but something that everyone can relate to, embrace and be inspired by. This comic book version is a quick and easy read, I'll be reading it again and again when I get stuck in negativity or will be in need of some inspiration or just to remind myself, that I am in charge of my own happiness, even at work:). Thoroughly recommended read.
