You get a lot for your money here - but only time will tell if it's any good. I find the curved scissors are always pointing the wrong way - almost as if they were made for left handers? The scissors are also the wrong size - they're almost always either too large or too small - (My dogs are bearded collies - labrador size) - the little pouch is a bit of a waste - there was loads of horrible plastic involved (each pair of scissors was in its own disposable single use plastic sleeve, the pouch itself is a bit flimsy and doesn't really hold everything comfortably - you get what you pay for I suppose.-----An update... Since posting my (quite reasonable I thought) 3 star review of this item I have been plagued with emails asking me to remove my review in exchange for a "refund" (of more than I paid for it?). I've mentioned to the seller that if they have an improved product then I'd be happy to review it and maybe consider revising my review, but that seems to have fallen on deaf ears.Any company who thinks it's better to bombard its customers with emails demanding that they remove perfectly reasonable reviews than investing in dealing with the issues they raise has got a serious problem. Congratulations - your 3 star review of an OK product has turned into a 2 star review of a company that bullies its customers.

I was really looking forward to receiving my Dog Grooming kit. It arrived, I was really excited. My excitement turned to absolute and total disappointment when the Thinning Scissors were missing!!!I now have to go through the whole refunding and reordering process…Not happy!!

This was good value for money, the kit does require a little bit of adjusting, but so far satisified with it. I suspect I might have to upgrade to a better set in the future. But for the moment it is sufficient. The only down side, the Scissor handles are quite small. I don't have big hands but do find them a bit tricky.

One of my dogs has ear problems not helped by having very hairy ears. I bought this kit so I am able to keep his ear hair trimmed between the every 6 weeks professional groom. Scissors seem nice and sharp, are comfortable and easy to hold.
