Enchanting and detailed dollhouse kit perfect for crafters
The Lannso DIY Dollhouse Miniature Kit is a magical and rewarding project for anyone who loves crafting and miniatures. The design of the "Magic Wand Shop" is intricate and full of charm, with tiny wooden pieces, miniature furniture, and enchanting details that bring the dollhouse to life. The assembly process is a delightful challenge. Each piece is carefully cut and fits together perfectly, though some parts are small and require precision and patience. I spent several evenings working on it and found the process relaxing and satisfying. The included instructions are clear and easy to follow, with diagrams that guide you through every step. The addition of a dustproof cover is a fantastic bonus, ensuring your hard work stays protected and clean. The LED lighting adds a magical touch, making the shop glow beautifully when completed. I especially appreciated how all the materials were high quality, from the wooden parts to the tiny accessories. This dollhouse makes a wonderful gift for anyone who enjoys hands-on projects or miniatures. Delivery was timely, and the kit arrived in pristine condition with all the pieces well-organized. If you’re looking for a creative and enchanting crafting experience, this is an excellent choice.

Very detailed, rewarding DIY magic shop!
I absolutely love this kit. It is definitely not for beginners and if you've done book nooks, this is quite a bit more detailed. But that is why I love it. While the instructions took a bit of getting used to, once I figured it out, it was pretty straight forward. I highly recommend several types of glue. EVERYTHING needs to be glued together. Elmers glue for paper type products, you definitely need super glue for the furniture because it has to dry fast. Also, I just discovered UV glue with the little UV light which was game changing for gluing the little beads and other parts together. I highly recommend that investment. Also, get multiple size tweezers, a nail file for filing off the wood once you punch it out of the frame. Don't plan to finish this in one sitting as is possible with one of the simpler book nooks I've done. But it is definitely rewarding and worth it. I thought the parts were well organized. All the beads are in separate bags and you have to be careful to get the right bead / part for each step. I would look at the number on the step then refer back to the original inventory page which then told you which bag to get the bead out of. You can compare the size/color based on that to make sure you get the right one. It's also all in centimeters which it doesn't explicitly state. So when I was cutting the wire I didn't get at first how long to cut it. But its usually 1:1 scale on the diagram, so you can line it up to know how long to cut the wire. Or some just say the number of centimeters, but if you're in the USA you might not realize that at first. Overall, if you are meticulously detailed, you will likely love this project as much as I do!

Very long build
Tedious but doable. The music box won’t work and for the life of me I cannot find a way to contact the manufacturer to ask for a replacement. The instructions are mostly pictures but easy to follow. The spiral stairs are impossible to get to match the pictures which is beyond frustrating. I won’t be able to let this go and may still be futzing with them this time next year.

It was a challenge!
This was my first book nook and let me tell you, it was tideous. With that being said, I loved it for being a challenge. Each potion bottle, wand, etc was made piece by micro piece and it was so much fun. Once I figured out the directions, it was pretty straightforward, but it definitely took me longer than the 5-8 hour estimation in the product images. It's so pretty once completed and the lights add to the magical feel. I think for the price it is well worth it. Hopefully the next one I do will be as enjoyable as this one. Side note read the beginning of the directions! It does not come with glue. I used B700 and a bottle with a needle tip.

This is amazing! I love it with all my heart!
This is my first DIY Miniature House. I loved it. The detail is amazing. Difficulty level is manageable. Its frustrating at times but that's what makes it satisfying. All the little pieces coming together to create a whole is amazing. Little tiny beads and wire. It is the funniest thing I have ever done for sure. Its so amazing. Its so wild how they can create such a cool experience. A couple pieces broke but that's bc I wasn't carful enough. But even without those it's beautiful. The lighting is the hardest part to be honest. But even without it you could skip it and this mini house is amazing. Intricut detail and magical whimsy. All the little pieces come together to create a beautiful peice. That is very interesting to look at.

Quality not as good as other brands for the same price
I just completed my first miniature house. I got this one next. This is extremely tedious. I don’t like that you have to cut out tiny pieces of paper and then glue them together to make something. Are there special tiny scissors I should be using? The wood pieces are not very sturdy. A chair leg broke without exerting any pressure on it. I will keep it and finish it but the quality is not nearly as good as the one I made from Rolife. I do have some extra double sided glue strips from the first kit and they come in handy on this kit, especially when trying to glue paper pieces together. I ordered more of the strips. Some of the fabric pieces literally need to be ironed because they are wrinkled. All this in just the first few items that I have put together. I truly hope that this comes out as good as it is pictured. UPDATE: templates are not the right size. The couch looks so bad that I don’t even want to use it. The instructions don’t correctly show how to make the fabric and leather look seamless. Terrible product.

Not for beginners or the inexperienced!
Item is beautiful, if you can complete it! The instruction leave quite alot to your imagination. Details are scarce. The plastic pieces have no guide for placement of components, so it is easy to glue one together incorrectly making disassembly necessary to compete it. I have completed dozens of these from other companies, so I was able to compensate for the shortcomings, but this is no kit for beginners or people with no extensive crafting experience. that said, if fully completed the lighting is exceptional with10 lights in all. all parts were accounted for, but the amount of use of the scissors to cut multiple pages of labels, floor and wall coverings etc. was 10 time more than any other miniature dwelling I have constructed. All in all it was both frustrating and rewarding.

Loved it!!! Just take your time...
Magic House (aka Wand Shop) This one was a fun project. My third book nook so far. Did not know what to expect. Kit came with everything that was needed, including Pigment and a paint brush. No glue (which was expected) or any other tools (which was also ok since I have all the tools I need). It was challenging. This an all-glue project. Everything was pretty good explained in the instructions, just have to go step by step. The first two pages detail what is all included and trust me you will need the inventory sheet. Best thing to do is tear out the page with the inventory and use it along the instructions or you have to go back and forth for identification. You have to build several wands with wires and beads, and bottles, and books (both the sticker and the fold/glue kind), and scrolls. By the end I got pretty good with the folding books and the rolling of scrolls. The easiest way to fold books is to use a cutter and a ruler and score along the fold lines. I got a little mixed up with what beads went on what wand so at the end I was just using what I had left to make wands. Had several letters/postcards/newspapers left over so I just put those randomly around, making it a little different. Lighting was straight forward but there should have been an earlier mention of cutting an area out of a book case before I had it put together and glued bunch of stuff on there so light cables were kinda squished behind the cupboard. And the light strand going up to the counter didn’t stay with only the sticker so I ended up gluing it in place. This one took me over a week, because there were so many little steps in between, but I loved the outcome. This one came with a dust cover, but I ended up not using it. Would definitely recommend, just take your time and let the glue dry…
