Spies of the Midnight Sun: A True Story of WWII Heroes

Marquis did it again. Kept me riveted to the stories of the 3 protagonists. He has a knack for mixing fact with fiction and making his novels page turners. His research and master of history, particularly with World War II is first rate. Fascinating characters in Spies of The Midnight Night. I think his best book yet.

I bought this book as I was interested in Eddie Chapman the British double agent,this book was a winner he bought to life occupied Norway,a fascinating read,I bought his next book Lions of the Desert and look forward to reading it.

I just today received my copy of this book. Imagine my shock when the front cover proclaims "A True Story of WWII Heroes" , while just inside even before the page "Dedication", I read the words "This book is a work of fiction." I was unaware that a work of fiction could be called a true story. Disgusting.......I will not be reading this book and will be seeking a refund. I am a realist to the core and I do not waste my time with fiction. But much more than that, I was deluded into thinking I was reading a "true story" I am so disappointed.
