Good outdoor use and light weight Stove
Light weight and portable. Good for outdoor use. Good as backup stove when my kitchen electric stove is down (due to electricity goes down). The regulator I received is good with US propane gas tank. Fire adjustment is very good on this stove. The lowest fire only lit up the small gas burner (center small ring) which good for conserving gas.

Propane stove
This is a great stove. It puts out high heat. I use a quick connect to my trailer so we can cook outside. The regulater is junk. Good thing I didn't need it.

The regulator was not compatible with a std propane gas ...
The regulator was not compatible with a std propane gas bottle. It has a female connection which screws into the gas bottle but needs a male connection so it can release gas from the bottle - does anybody have a solution?

Functional with modifications
M.D.S. single burner factory needs to remove protective plastic sheeting during assembly of stove. I had to disassemble stove to remove plastic. Sheet metal parts are sharp and must handle parts carefully. Once screws removed 50% of them would not tighten back down properly i.e. stripped out forcing me to reassemble with pop rivets.Removed the input gas tubing from the stove and hacked off metric gas hose connection on stove and silver soldered back on a 3/8 flare x 1/2 inch tube socket adapter then reinstalled the tube. Regular solder will not work as the tube on the stove is steel. Soldering steel to brass requires silver solder and high temperature torch. A welding shop or refrigeration or air conditioning repair tech may be able to do the metric to Parker adapter conversion for you as they should but not always have silver solder equipment on hand. Copy and paste this part number into Amazon search bar to see correct part I used. Parker 43F-6-8-pk10. This is for a pack of 10. You may be able to find package of one adapter somewhere else. Air conditioning / refrigeration repair tech may have one on his truck or can get it for you. With the Parker 43F-6-8 adapter correctly silver soldered on, now any 3/8 flare BBQ hose and low pressure regulator will work. Not sure about the blue/green high pressure regulator stove came with but runs fine on widely available low pressure BBQ regulator I had on hand.Stove runs fine now and looks good.Yes, I am a retired professional with a forte in assembling and modifying all kinds of equipment. Do not attempt yourself if unsure. Silver soldering gets things red hot and the sheet metal on this stove is very sharp. I do know a few people that have attempted such repairs and done safely and carefully, they have a new skill : )

Good Stove Wrong Regulator
Bought to use as the heat source for a trash-can smoker. Unfortunately, the size of the stove was about an inch to big to fit in the bottom of my trash can. Took apart the stove and frame and modified the size to fit in the bottom of the can. The included gas regulator and hose DO NOT work with a standard propane tank (like for a bbq). The regulator will screw into the female threads of the propane tank but will not depress the valve to let gas flow. Went and bought a cheap regulator and tried to connect to the stove. Of course the new standard regulator I bought fit the propane tank the other end screws to the stove but leaks gas all around the stove connection because it doesn't have the needed nipple-rubber sealer the stove connection requires. So, I cut the end off the new regulator connection and then removed the nipple connector from the original regulator and installed it into the hose with a small hose clamp. Now, after this modification it works great. Wish I would have noticed the ridiculous regulator issue before I modified the stove as I would have returned it and bought one that wasn't dumb. Oh well, works great now. Smoke meat everyday.
