Could the remote be placed on the other side of the toilet? And could the electrical outlet be on the other side too?

Hello, The control panel cannot be moved to the other side. If this is an issue, you may want to take a look at the C5 version that uses a remote control instead of a side panel. The outlet can be placed on either side of the toilet as long as the 3.9 foot power cord can reach. The power cord is on the back left-hand side of the unit when facing the toilet. Do you have to hook it up to hot water?

Question 3

Do both pieces arrive together in one box? I ordered this item and one box arrived with only a tank. Customer service offered a partial refund!  LMFAO

Generally you will receive six boxes.  First a broken tank, an intact bowl, and a seat, and after you invoke the customer service rituals, you will then receive an intact tank, a broken bowl, and another seat.  You will then summon the internet refund robot, which will not know what to do with this, and return one random box of ceramic shards, leaving you with one intact and complete toilet, an extra seat, and either an extra tank or an extra bowl.  I elected the 'extra tank' option, but I kind of regret it since the bowl would have made a more amusing planter in the front flower bed.

Question 4

Is the water and power line routed along the side of the toilet? Some of the TOTO images show the lines are hidden from view.
