Female, height 5'7", weight 265 lbs, measurements 54-48-54 bust-waist-hip. I ordered a 3X in solid black and it fits nicely. It does have a side-zip but it was unnecessary to unzip it to get it on; the waistband is stretchy enough to slide it over my hips and get it on. It is a tad shorter on me than I would have liked, sitting at my natural waist it is about 2 inches above ankle height so it gets dinged a star for that. I will allow that I do have slightly longer legs than normal (normal length jeans have a similar problem), so women for whom normal-length things hit their ankle should have a nice ankle-length skirt with the waistband at the natural waist. Otherwise, the fabric weight is a nice heavy wool blend with a synthetic lining and it does have side pockets large enough to accommodate a 6.4" phone in a wallet case without any issue. It would make a nice fall/winter skirt for most, and I will be keeping mine.

I am 5’4 and slight: got the small in Black Watch plaid. It fits to a T and looks smart with a black turtleneck and boots. Very comfy elastic waist.

I'm not used to wearing long skirts, and since I am quite short, I wasn't sure how this would fit. I'm 5-foot-nothing and it goes down to near my ankles. It's so, SO comfy that I could sleep in it (and I have - I've crashed after an early morning at class in this). And it has actual pockets. Not the crummy ones in most women's pants. ACTUAL. POCKETS. I don't have to worry about my phone falling out.Favorite skirt ever!

Very pretty and warm, but does run a little small.

overall I like this skirt. The material is nice for the price. the lining does not go the full length of the skirt which stinks but overall the skirt is warm and nice length mid calf on my 5'5" frame. looks nice with boots and the pockets are nice to have.. The zipper is a little tricky and there is not much stretch so if you aren't sure I would order up a size. It is a high waisted skirt to so keep that in mind.

I am 5'3" and weigh 140 lbs. when I read the description the measurements were a bit confusing so I opted to buy a large because I don't like anything tight around my waist. (I typically wear a medium.) I was glad to have the large because I would say the skirt runs a tad small but with the elastic waist it wasn't at all tight. The skirt is an a-line so it fits generously around the hip, which is good for me since I'm a small person but curvy. The description said 'long' but the length was perfect; long enough to cover boots and hit at the right spot above my ankle but not long enough that I had to shorten it. For a petite person, it's a maxi skirt rather than a midi. It is lined and has pockets. The fabric is very thick so it's good for very cold weather - if you live in a warm climate or have very few cold days, it may be too thick. Also, the thickness adds bulk so if you are curvy like me, it may make your hips look a bit curvier. Since I needed the skirt for being outside on a cold day dressed up, it's just right. The beige/navy/orange plaid is a nice combination of colors and looks very stylish.

I wear a 16 and got an close which xl is usually big on me but this was a little snugIt’s also a lot longer then I had expected it to be but it is a good quality skirt All in all happy with it just maybe should have sized up

Good skirt, very pretty pattern, very thick material. Perfect for fall and winter. I loved wearing this with my boots this past winter season. Great price, I hope it lasts and doesn't get cheap looking over time.

To wear it

I can't stop laughing. I've seen this fabric used for cheap blankets before but never for clothes. You can't wear this in public - maybe as a costume in a play? The returns agent was very polite, but I can only get 50% of my money back because shipping is so expensive. I'm not even mad, it feels like a good practical joke.

This skirt was true to size guide and the colours were true to photos. It was comfortable and warm, and it was great to wear to work. Until about 30 minutes in when I discovered the zipper had popped open and was stuck fast, the zip tab would not move up or down and it was only held together where the zip tab was sitting. I am waiting on a refund, and I won't be repurchasing.

I usually fit between a 12-14 Australia and this fits perfectly, the back elastic is just enough to make it comfortably tight, sits around mid to low calf a comfortable length and even though the internal slip stops around knee it doesn’t feel scratchy. Great purchase and will be getting other colours shortly! Also it arrived suuuuper early too!
