Infusion Living Better Shredder for Meat and Food Red

My husband asked for this for Christmas as we often make shredded chicken and when it came in, I was initially disappointed by how flimsy it felt and was skeptical of it overall - I figured this would be one of those kitchen gadgets that end up sitting in the cabinet because they don't work as expected.I was very pleasantly surprised to the contrary! It works great, cleans easily (if you have a dishwasher) and all around was better than I expected. We've used it 1-2 times a week since Christmas and no issues so far. My only complaint is that the box shows it coming it both red and gray, but the only option to purchase was red. Very minor annoyance, and obviously doesn't impact what it was bought to do - shred chicken!

Tried this 6 times; it worked once. First time was on pre-cooked chicken strips, which was all the store had. Didn’t work, and I blamed on the small size of the pieces.The other times, I used boneless breasts. The only way it works is you have 3 hands: one to keep the bottom still, the other 2 to work the top. The problem is the bottom: it must stay still, but slips around on all kitchen surfaces, even if you put down a silicone trivet under it. So I got it to shred once and used the same exact technique after that, but all it did was stab holes in the chicken.It is way more physical labor than just using your hands or bear claws.It is, however, easy to clean, despite reviews to the contrary. Tap out the shredded chicken, rinse to get any bits that stuck and throw it in the dishwasher.Oh, and as other have noted, it is hard to separate the top from the bottom, so prepare to store them individually.This is a truly terrible product.

Shredded chicken in seconds. Worst part of making a meal with shredded chicken in my opinion but with this shredding chicken is amazing. Small tip - whole chicken breast are easier to shred than small pieces. Super easy to turn even with thick chicken. Blown away at how amazing this product is.

Pros:-It does 90% of the work of shredding chicken in 15 seconds instead of 15 minutes. Great time saver, especially if you are shredding a lot of chicken at once.-Works for most any tender meat: chicken, pork, stew meat, etc.Cons:-It leaves pretty big chunks in random places. You can cut those down more by rearranging and spinning again, but you will probably have to use a fork and knife to get the last of it.-It is a royal pain to clean. Dishwasher works great, but if you don't run the dishwasher as often as you want to use it, good luck cleaning all the nooks and crannies. The spikes are all four-sided '+' shapes, not cones, so you have to get at them from all different directions and it's very tedious.

It’s just cheap and The pieces that you’re supposed to hold kept falling off it does not shred chicken as effectively because it’s hard to hold it still. I personally would not recommend it’s just not worth it. Use a food processor or shred it with two forks

Boil and shred and you got a great meal!A quick rinse will discard the excess food and I’ve used it in my dishwasher with no problems. Very durable but the tops of the handles come off so if you have small children that take utensils I recommend superglueing the tops down so you don’t lose them!

After receiving the item, it was very small. It will hold one chicken breast. It is hard to open and I had to hold it with both hands and rotate back and forth, using the palms of my hand. If I tried to use it on the counter, the entire thing just moved and nothing was shredded. It did it’s job if I held it but it’s not the item I thought I was getting.After reading the numerous angry reviews by shoppers, AFTER I purchased it, it was obvious it was a bad item. Amazon refunded my money for the purchase, without me asking. It ended up in the trash, as it was difficult to use all together and quicker to just use a fork to shred the chicken.

The product I received is nothing like the picture and was complete junk! The lid fit so snug that it wasn't possible to turn it. AND, it only had some cheap rubber disks on the bottom to hold it while you attempted to use it. I don't know if there was a switcheroo somewhere along the line, but what I got isn't worth the plastic it took to make it.If you're looking for a good one, I bought this one afterward and it's great. Just like you'd expect to get.
