First - very easy to turn on and off - button in the brim. Second - It's a normal HW cap- cotton, not wool. Fits great.Best feature - I can lead two horses in from the paddock without also trying to manage a flashlight.It takes two standard batteries - the same that I use in my garage remote and it was easy to open the pouch to put them in.Note: The idem description said the package would include two batteries, and it did not. I think this is a seller issue, rather than a product issue (making sure the description is accurate) so this doesn't affect my product rating.

The light works extremely well. I wear it each night when I go out to check the horses and throw hay to and I don't need to use any other light source. The hat also looks good and the lights are subtle enough that that I would not mind wearing the hat during the day.

Great hat and really well made. The lights are bright but still looks good during the day. The batteries were missing with mine so that's the reason for the 4 stars. Would buy again for sure.

It's a good hat, but it did not come with batteries and I'm having difficulty finding what kind of batteries it needs.

No batteries came with mine but the hat is made very well.

Light is not bright at all and the hat fits terrible.

Bought the blue cap for a friend who helps out with the horses. She loves it, the LED lights are bright but not distracting to the wearer. Easy on/off button nicely concealed in the peak. Velcro strap for easy adjustment. Came with spare batteries. Very handy for the dark mornings and nights ahead. Now her friend wants the green cap. Everyone happy.

Really impressed with how bright the light is and how subtle it looks when not using the light. Very good for the price!

The instructions could be clearer for the light but overall a great product.
