This product has long been a standard for post-surgical incision treatment to reduce scarring. It's a fine product, works well, pleasant odor (albeit a little strong).

This stuff smells so divine! It smells a bit chocolatey and what is not to love about a smell THAT delicious? Also, I have extremely sensitive skin and most lotions instantly break me out in hives. This doesn't irritate me or break me out at all, though! I had tempered expectations with this product because I know lotion can't completely fix cellulite or loose skin from extreme weightloss, but I hoped it would improve skin elasticity and firm things up just a bit (with added bonus of soft skin). I've lost over 100 lbs and needed some serious skin firming. It does what I hoped it would do. It definitely has observable benefits. My skin does appear firmer and is definitely very soft. I dry brush my skin for exfoliation, shower and then apply this in the mornings & reapply before bed. If you want the best results to firm up skin, eat a healthy diet and stay well hydrated by drinking 8-10 glasses of water. Furthermore, exercise helps because the muscle underneath the skin will give some structure & help a bit with flabbyness. Over time, with all these methods I have noticed some improvements in dealing with loose skin, and I think adding this lotion has increased my success. I actually have a lot less loose skin than most people would after losing this much weight. Not perfect, but pretty darn good! I was interested in this lotion in particular because it contains collagen, which is known to firm skin. I do feel it works better than just normal lotion because of that (I've tried lots of stuff, trust me lol). I think the collagen is the secret sauce in this product. I'm very glad I was able to find a product with collagen with natural ingredients like shea butter that doesn't give me hives & comes in a large enough bottle for all over body use. I use this mostly on my thighs, bum, stomach, breasts and upper arms. I've even put it on my face and neck & can instantly feel the skin firming there. I will continue to use and purchase this product. I'm pretty sure I would just because it smells so good and doesn't give me hives, but I am glad for skin firming too! lol I would say to expect noticeable results with regular use of this product, but to have realistic expectations. It won't give you the thighs of a 16 year old, but it will definitely improve what you've got going on.

Ok people, know what you're buying. If you're looking for Cocoa Butter products and just buy whatever, that's like going to the store for peanut butter and getting mad because you picked up a crunchy without realizing it. I love cocoa butter, use it mostly every day. Yes it is greasy, YOU HAVE TO RUB IT IN. Rub it in for longer and use less. It takes a little bit to set in, but it is great in cold winter to keep you from drying out and great in the summer to get a golden tan (also spf 4, like you're worried about that with cocoa butter on!) Yes it smells like chocolate. No it is not lotion, that's why it's called BUTTER. Yes there is cocoa butter lotion called Cocoa Butter LOTION. It does take some getting used to, and you still may not like it. As I said I use it nearly every day; not generally on my face but it's great for lips, feet, whole body! Great for massage ;) but again, DON'T USE TOO MUCH. And in terms of size I wrote this comment on another comment, they said the Size was not accurate, and thus a rip off: "I read your comment about the size before buying, but got it anyway since Amazon is so good about returns. Yes it is roughly the same size as the 9.5 oz, but this 13.25oz does not have the same hollow wall that the 9.5oz has; the 13.25oz wall is only the width of one piece of plastic. Also it wouldn't need to be much bigger, it is only 3.75oz more. That said, the place I got my 9.5oz jars in NYC had a better price per ounce, but now that I'm in San Francisco I can't find the 7.25oz for less than $9! So for me this one is a good deal, it's all relative."

I have used Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula for years, both the lotion and this cream. This cream has always been able to keep my legs from getting too dry and ashy in the dry winter months. I use the lotion in the summer (humid) and a combination of the two (cream and lotion) in the other seasons. Sometimes it lotion on my torso and the cream on my legs. If you are averse to using mineral oil on your skin, this may not be for you. This brands cream is one of the rare products that I purchase that has it listed in the ingredients. My skin on my legs below my knees can get so dry, it cracks. Wearing this daily on those areas prevents that. I love the scent and how it quickly melts in your hands before applying. Some may think it is too oily but it does not stay oily very long. I would not use this if I wear wearing a silk shirt but that's where the lotion would be substituted. I apply right after a shower while my skin is still moist. During 2020 with all of the hand washing and applying of hand sanitizer, my hands became much dryer. I began applying this thru out the day and my hands no longer have that sand paper feel. I really like this product, the feel, scent and it works. I buy it to keep dry skin at bay and it does that very very well.

My physical therapist uses this on me and every session, seems to help my scars from surgery heal, and keeps it moisturize. I just had reconstruction surgery on my wrist with tendon graph and this is helping my recovery..

Smells delicious and leaves skins feeling lovely and soft. I do believe it helps to firm skin but I also go swimming so maybe it’s a mixture of both?!!

Amazing product. This has definitely had a smoothing affect on my skin after losing 4 stone and being left a bit 'baggy' round the middle! Ok, so nothing other than plastic surgery is going to perform a miracle, but anything that leaves my skin smoother and even slightly firmer is a winner in my book. This product smells gorgeous, really chocolatey, so might be a bit overpowering for anyone adverse to that rich, creamy, vanillary smell, but I can't get enough of it! I'm on my 3rd bottle, with more in stock, and I'm really pleased that I've found a rich but not greasy product to make my skin look and feel better. I even use it on my face at night and I'm convinced it's helping that too. Best of all, it's not a ridiculously priced product, so I'm staying with it if only for the sake of my self esteem!

Great product, I have been using it over 3 years, but was removed from the stores. Very good for dry skin people, when applying on your body, mix it with watery hand and let it dry. Best body cream, hope it will stay in the market.
