I replaced the much weaker laces that came with my hiking shoes when I first bought them. I knew that they would fail on me, but I didn't think that soon. This choice was a shot in the dark with this brand. But I liked their look and description. So, I went for it, and they look and feel durable. One thing I have immediately noticed when tying the laces, is that they haven't loosened like my original laces have done. I will update this review if these should fail. But for now, I am happy with them.

They were the proper length. Fit well in my shoes and the laces hold very tightly. Seem to be much heavier quality than your standard boot or shoelace. I especially like the waves built-in to the design of the lace to keep them from slipping. I don’t have half as much trouble with my laces coming undone. Probably the best quality of replacement shoelace I have ever bought. Seems to be heavier than the ones that originally came in my steel toed Keens. Would give them six stars if I could.

it appeared as described. however, what do i do with a single lace when i have 2 boots? ridiculous- how does one screw that up? $14 for a single lace....unbelievable.
