Return Of The King: Elvis Presley's Great Comeback (Genuine Jawbone Books)

I have been buying books on Elvis since 1963. In more recent times, I have enjoyed those books that focus on one aspect of his career or life, and Return of the King is an excellent example of the best of this type of approach. Although, from the title and front cover picture, you might expect this to be about the 68 Comeback Special only, it is more extensive than that. It covers 1968, 1969 and 1970 in fair detail but is also bookended with sections on the 'before' and 'after' periods. It is expertly and accurately written with very few obvious errors and contains loads of information that would normally be known only by devoted fans. If you want to relive Elvis's final glory period, in well written prose, then buy this book !

A terrific book with very informative and often compelling information that is very well written on top quality paper. I've read many books related to Elvis Presley and I would say that this is up there with the best. ENJOY!

Great book, love anything to do with Elvis so wasn't disappointed Just wish he was still with us. But he will always be the Greatest entertainer the world has ever known Miss you Elvis

It is a good book, which unfortunately does not necessarily contain new knowledge for long-time fans. They know too much information already of Elvis' Las Vegas concerts.
