Leather Paws Small Quick Release Leather Collar

Wow! I have been searching for a leather, quick-release collar for what seems like ages, and either the leather seemed flimsy, the product was mostly webbing, or the buckle was plastic instead of metal — sometimes all of the above! I just wanted a collar that would fit my tiny puppy, made of a natural material, and that was aesthetically pleasing. I'll admit, I'm a sucker for a good-looking product, but I wanted to make sure that whatever I bought wasn't going to fall apart with a sneeze. Because Percy is a little guy — his maximum adult weight is fifteen pounds, and he's only a few months old right now — a lot of the collars I looked at seemed too heavy for his neck. This Leather Paws collar is adjustable, so it can grow with him, and the hardware is super beefy! I tugged on the collar while closed, and the clip didn't budge at all. We're not going to be using the collar to attach to Percy's leash, because I feel that a harness is safer for his size, so the purpose is mostly to hold his tags. Still, if we needed to, the D-ring is hefty enough that I believe it could easily accommodate the clip for his leash as well.I expected this collar to arrive by Friday at the earliest, and it came Tuesday afternoon (three days ahead of schedule)! The sweet little flocked bag it came in will be great to store the collar in as needed, and I can't wait for Percy to come home so we can try it on! Thanks, Leather Paws!

I really love the thickness and the way it looks on my pup. The only issue is the clasp. It stays closed but it doesn't close properly. I find it hard to get the clasp clasp. But I do like the look of it and it is our main collar.

A good buy and a good price! The buckle is a little weak and my dog’s collar will sometimes come off because of it, otherwise I am satisfied with my purchase.

My two Alaskan Malamutes (one is 75 lbs and the other one 90 lbs.) spend a lot of their time playing and wrestling and have gone through several collars that didn't last due to their playfulness. But these collars are still intact!!! My pups have tried to chew through them without any success. Also, they're very stylish. Excellent craftsmanship, unbeatable price and they even came in luxurious velvet pouches. I would strongly recommend this product to anyone.

I'm was pleasantly surprised by this item and the care that was taken prior to receiving it! The color is a dark brown and all components are excellent quality. It was even shipped in a velvet bag with a wonderful poem about pets and how they enrich the lives of their humans. Tear worthy for sure! I would definitely buy LEATHER PAWS products again. Kudos!

Great Collar, Quick note for anyone with a tag that slides over the collar, the buckles are too big to allow them to slide over. We found a work around by getting the RoadID or equivalent tag, that has fabric loops that could stretch over the buckles.
