It does work with LED.... BULBS
I, like everyone else, wanted to use this for LED even though Lutron says it is not compatible. I work in engineering and I asked the electrical engineers at work if it will work with dimmable LED although it is not designed to. They assured me it would work ONLY because I am using LED blubs. If it was a fixture that had integral LED that it would not work. Reason being is that the way LED blubs are wired are to work like incandescent, therefore the switch works all the same. I installed the switch and sure enough everything worked perfectly. Super happy. For anyone curious I've attached a picture of the bulbs I used.

Not for dimmable LEDs!!! Must have all three terminals connected to function.
I first bought this device to combine an incandescent can light for our fireplace and our LED backyard motion light into one gang so that I can use the other gang in the 2 gang box to mount a Pico remote controlling another light. I wired the incandescent light to the dimmer terminal and the LED one to the switch terminal. It worked perfectly. I recently replaced that incandescent light with an LED trim light and this device stopped working like it used to. When the dimmer is off, the LED light is still on (at its lowest brightness). I can never get it to be completely off without disconnecting this combo device. The dimmer can still control the LED trim's brightness, but can never turn it completely off.Clearly, Lutron is absolutely correct that this device does not support LED lighting. The only reason I bought this was because I had an incandescent light. But now that I replaced it with an LED, this device is pretty much a deadweight. Past its return period and hard to sell since LEDs are more widely used than incandescents.I have no idea why so many buyers on this site claim to be able to use this device with LED lights and have zero issues. I do not understand how they are able to make it work. Are they just living with LEDs that are still glowing when the switches are off? No clue. What grinds my gears further is that Lutron has not made an LED version of this device. Like I know it's more complicated to manufacture, but I'd be happier to buy that instead of this for obvious reasons. Speaking of which, I did post a question asking for an LED version. The first two answers I received are from buyers who claim that it works with LEDs. NO IT DOESN'T! STOP LYING TO ME! I reported their answers, but Amazon being the selfish giant they are didn't do anything about my report. The third, hopefully the final, answer was from Lutron telling me the obvious facts about this combo device.Bottom line is DO NOT buy this item if you need to dim LED lighting. It will never ever turn off.

Great switch for incandescent bulbs, will not work as intended in a circuit with all LED dimmable bulbs.
This is a great dual switch & dimmer; however it did not work for my application. I have a fan and light in the room that original had a dual switch, I replaced the old bulbs out for dimmable LED bulbs, and the previous dimmer would no longer dim the lights. I do realize this particular dual dimmer /switch is not rated for LED, so I still gave it 4 stars for the functionality it does provide. Other reviews have said that their's had worked with LED so I figured I'd try it. It is a great dual switch for incandescent bulbs!Issue: When first powered up the LED bulbs would flicker, and one bulb would never go off completely unless the fan was running. With Fan on the LED bulbs would just flicker occasionally. The dimming function did work with the led bulbs. But when first coming on they would flash bright before they dimmed, and when turning off the same would happen on occasion. Also once switched off one bulb would continue to illuminate dimly. If I switch just one of the bulbs to a standard incandescent bulb the switch works as intended. I had another dimmer that cause similar issues unless I also switched just one bulb to an incandescent; this dual dimmer and the other dimmer that caused issues had indicator lights on it. I believe the issue is with the indicator lights on the switch. A typical switch has no continuity (No electricity flowing to light the indicators) from neutral to hot, I'm guessing it must use a small amount of current/voltage through the switch (and the lights) to keep the indicators on. When using incandescent bulbs it is not enough to cause any interference but since the LED's run on such low voltage they pick up this amount and stay dim or pulsate.Just wanted to let others know of the possible issues when using this with LED bulbs. This can be a great switch for most applications, I loved the features of the dimmer, but for LED bulb applications it is not built for that. I will continue to try and find a dual dimmer/switch that supports LED bulbs.

Maestro gets lost in the dark
I have installed a couple dozen Maestro switches in various formats; single and double switches, dimmers, no dimming, occupancy sensors... All were easy to install and a pleasure to use. I have a bookmark to the advanced programming page and have made full use of the customization options. Good stuff. The slow smooth light and fade is much more appealing than simple on and off lighting. The Maestro with occupancy sensors are perfect for hallways and bathrooms. I love never having to touch those switches and knowing the lights are off when unoccupied. Very nicely designed.I drop one star from this review because of the bazaar reaction the switch has to a blown light bulb. The switch will lose all it's LED indicator lights and looks to be completely broken. The dimmer I have on my bathroom light worked nicely until the bulb blew. I tried the fan and that did not work which led me to believe the switch had malfunctioned. On a whim, I unscrewed the light bulb on another Maestro switch and the LEDs on that switch went out and it too looked broken. Screw the bulb in and LEDs came back on. So I changed the bathroom bulb and my Maestro double switch came back to life and the fan worked normally again. All discovered after ordering its replacement. Ah well, I will find a home for it.Overall, great switch, just be aware of some hoky behavior when bulbs are burnt out.

Nice Switch
Liked the switch. But design should protect switch for short or grounded wire without destroying the internal electronics, which requires buying a new switch.

Was ok
Cool design. But made a light humming sound when installed. Ended up replacing it with a different switch from another brand and that one worked great and had no sound
