The fire surround is packaged separately to the fire itself so you will receive 2 boxes, both packaged extremely well and absolutely no damage whatsoever. It took my husband about 30 minutes to put it all together after laying it all out in the lounge on the floor. Each piece is lettered and the instructions are very clear to understand making life a lot easier. It is very well made and looks so cosy with the flames on in the evening. We didn't buy it for the heating part but it is very quiet. I 100% recommend this product, I really am so impressed with it especially for the price and especially compared to other fire surround suites for double the cost. So pleased we chose this one.

I was sceptic about ordering an electric fireplace online, however this marvellous wooden model has went beyond my expectations. My kitties have given their approval too.It fits neatly and perfectly, standing firm on its own, stable with its strong engineered wood.The heat output is surprisingly strong, especially when it can go up to 28 degrees celsius!Functionality of the lighting of the electric flames and mood lighting is great. I appreciate the ability to dim the light setting of the flames - atmospheric lighting accomplished!The remote makes it convenient, great for adjusting the settings from your seat; the manual power switch is subtle, hidden in the top vent of the electric fire.It is worth the value for money, especially when the surround and electric fire fit perfectly together. I’ve made the mistake in the past of buying a fireplace mantelpiece surround and electric fire separately, they were imperfect together.The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow, with good hardwire pieces. My only slight critique were a couple of the alphabetical pieces were labelled differently in the manual to the physical pieces - e.g. in the manual it says “2 x H” pieces but the stickers said “H” and “I” on the actual pieces. Just a heads up in case any of you get confused like I was.

As the photo shows, looks ok. But took me a while to put together. The two brackets to fit the fire to the surround doesn't seem enough. Could have done with 4 brackets.Disappointed to find the mood lighting connectors don't fit. 2 prongs into a 4 prong connector, I rang the number for customer services and they seemed to know about the problem already. Told me to email customer services with a photo. And they will send a connector. Which I've done, just waiting for a reply.

Arrived on time in two boxes. One containing the surround and the other containing the fire. Assembly took about 40mins. Everything was clearly labelled including all pieces of the surround. I only needed a pair of scissors to open the box and a Philips screwdriver to put the surround together. When assembled it’s really sturdy and quite heavy. It’s a slight off white colour but not cream. The suite comes with a remote control which allows you to operate the lights and heat separately and it has a timer too. I’m so impressed with the whole thing. Well worth the price.

I looked at lots of this type of electric fire with a surround and kept coming back to this one.In the end I decided to go with this one as none of the others had everything this one had.It arrived quickly and we’ll packaged.The instructions were well laid out and easy to follow unlike many instructions we’ve all tried to decipher over the years.I would say, make sure the surround is perfectly square before fitting the fire and then tighten everything up as if it’s slightly out it won’t fit properly.The power cable would of been better if you could have it in the left or right side and longer as everyone’s home will be different and one size doesn’t fit all.I removed the cable that came with it and added a much longer one which I put in surface mounted trunking on my skirting boards so it can’t be seen.This meant drilling a hole in the base to pass the cable through, which maybe is something they can think about incorporating in the design as I’m sure most people don’t want a nice new fireplace with a cable ruining the appearance by sticking out the side to a plug socket.I didn’t buy it to use to heat my fairly large living room, but it might get the odd use in the winter to heat the room until the heating kicks in.I really like the led lighting around the surround and the flame effects are very nice too.It all seems well made and time will tell how long the fire lasts as I’ve only had it about 4 months.The instructions did say it comes with a touch up pen, but I didn’t get one.Overall, I’m very happy with it for the price and hopefully it’ll last a good few years.

This fire is so nice and looks expensive, with three settings for the glow of logs, the heating is very quickand effective and very quiet. would recommend it for a small living room .
