Correct size, slight stretch and comfortable!
I am a diabetic with severe neuropathy in my feet and toes especially. I have stinging, burning and numbness 24/7. I can not stand to wear enclosed shoes, I'm having difficulty with balance and walking is difficult. I tried these on and my left foot is slightly swollen and very numb, it is uncomfortable, but that's the way it is with me. I wear an 8.5 wide and that's what I ordered and they fit correctly. They have slight stretch and leaving out my left foot numbness, I think these shoes are great. They are comfortable, roomy and if you have swollen feet they give enough to not be concerned with tightness. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a shoe size that's correct, lightweight, and has a slight stretch.

Plantar Fasciitis pain greatly reduced since discovering this shoe brand
I have been wearing this brand of shoe since late last year because severe plantar fasciitis in both feet made walking agonizing. I originally bought a pair of Orthofeet Mary Janes, needing a pair of shoes that could be dressed up or down after experiencing the ordeal of finding a pair of shoes I could wear to my son's wedding and walk without crying. Those ended up alleviating my foot pain to the extent that I decided to give a sneaker style from the same brand a try--hence, this purchase. My plantar fasciitis flare-up began last September and I made my first Orthofeet purchase probably in November. (I can't find a record of it on Amazon, so I might have bought it straight from the brand's website.) By February, when I purchased this pair of shoes, I had already begun to notice a difference. There was some relief from the first time I tried walking with this brand of insole, but the longer I continued to do so, the more improvement I could feel in my foot pain. I think the arch support in the Mary Janes fits my foot slightly better than in these, but these shoes have become my go-to for everyday wear. The few "cons" I can think of with this particular shoe are as follows: 1. They squeak. The insoles in my other two Orthofeet shoes do not, so I don't know why this particular shoe is different, but unfortunately it is. However, I can live with squeaky insoles if that means being able to stand and walk around with little to no pain. 2. The toe box is not quite as room as I would prefer. The moment I get home, I switch to my Orthofeet sandals, or even to the Mary Janes. However, I think going up to a Wide shoe might make them fit too loosely in the heel area. Those are literally the only problems I can think of with these shoes. The insoles are great and the level of arch support can be tailored to your individual foot's needs. (I need the additional rigid support that goes underneath the main insole.) The insoles are removable and in theory could be used in other shoes if they also have a removable insole, but I haven't tried this yet. The sizing seems to be accurate for me, aside from preferring a slightly more roomy toe box. And I haven't experienced any tendency to slip in these during wet weather, which is a plus for me since I had a bad slip-and-fall back injury a few years ago and prefer to wear shoes as non-slip as possible now. (By the way, since wearing these insoles, I have also had greatly reduced to nonexistent back pain, so I suspect my previous lack of proper arch support was hindering my healing from my back injury.) I have since purchased a pair of summer sandals in this brand and will collect other styles as I can afford them. (Because price is the other drawback to this brand, though it is still in a reasonable enough range that I'm willing to pay a bit more for the pain relief.)

Not true to size, had to reorder 1/2 size larger
UPDATE: The soles are too stiff and the backs are too tall that they hurt the back of my ankles, sadly I have to return them. 1st pair ran short, so I had to reorder a half size bigger than my usual size. Much better, no more toes hitting the front.

This shoe is amazing.
Finally! I found shoes with the support I need and comfortable to wear. I've experienced foot problems for years having to wear flat or low heals. I am now retired, but can't count how many shoes and inserts I purchased when I was working. I suffer from bunions, wide feet, arthritis, overpronation and need arch support. I've been wearing these shoes for a week now and have to admit my feet and legs don't hurt when it's bedtime. Before my feet and legs hurt so bad. They come with orthotic insoles including an arch booster. At first I put the arch booster in each shoe. But after wearing a couple of days, my right shoe felt tighter so I took out the arch booster and only need it for the left shoe. With my Atmos shoes, you can tell by the shoe how much my left foot turns outward (pronation). These shoes are designed to correct foot alignment and I'm anxious to see if it helps. Although a little pricey it is definitely worth the extra money especially if it helps with foot pain. One other thing. I have knee pain as well and already can tell a difference. Granted I may always have some knee pain even after a total knee replacement, but I feel these shoes are helping. I would definitely recommend.

Not as comfortable as expected
I had high expectations since these are specifically for folks with plantar faciatia/foot pain. I wear an 8 but these were a half size too short. Width was good. They came with 2 pairs of spacers to help if they were too loose. Also came with inserts to boost arch support. Quality seems good. Returning them because they're too short. Not getting the 8.5 because I didn't find them to be outrageously comfortable.

Good for pain in the foot
I feel very strongly about leaving this review. I was going to wait a little longer to wear these shoes but I can already tell a difference after a week. The top of my feet were hurting extremely bad and throbbing. I have worn Hokas and Brooks and they hurt my feet even worse! I researched top foot pain and it led me to these Ortho feet shoes. They are not the cutest shoes I have ever had but they are definitely the most comfortable!! I was bouncing and hopping in the Hokas and the Brooks surrounded my feet too much. I have adequate room in these and they do not squish your foot on top or on the sides. Will definitely purchase again and would recommend these shoes to anyone with pain in their feet. Very comfortable, breathable, supportive shoes!!

Love my Ortho's
Best walking shoes ever. I'm on my third pair. Very comfortable on my long walks. Fit extremely well, ate durable and look great. I need a deep toe box as I have a claw toe on each foot. Highly recommend Judy

Comfortable
Finally a pair of shoes that are comfortable. I have returned dozens of pairs of shoe since my go to Salmons were discontinued. This pair was inexpensive and came with enough insert options that I was able to wear them and not suffer. Not ideal for hiking but good enough for work. I get 5000 to 10000 steps a day at work.

Not for Canada
Never shop from this store if you live in Canada. You pay a fortune to return and wait for ever to to get your money back. I am still waiting for my money.☹️
