A Book That Suggests We Were Visited by Aliens Earlier in History
A tiny 150 page book packed with historical and archeological information, seemingly meant for the skeptical scientific community who were "refusing" to "believe" in aliens. The author provides us with an enormous amount of information that is heavily mythological and he invites us to look differently into all of those cave drawings and thombs of Egypt. It really reminded me of a program "ANCIENT ALLIENS" by the HISTORY CHANNEL. Another book that this reminded me of was "Sapiens" by Yuval Noah Harrari.I can't say wether I liked this book. I guess it was not what I was expecting. I was expecting something a bit more New Agey and "woo-woo" (which I enjoy), but this was more scientific and "clever", at times futuristic and "Star-Trekkish" but at the same time it didn't seem shocking or like "news".Everything seemed known or heard before, so either I'm reading at the bad time or it just wasn't what I was looking for. Nevertheless, I'm happy to have read this book because I've heard people talking about it, so it's great to know why.

Astonishing....
I was just casually searching through various titles here when ‘Chariots of the Gods’ caught my attention and when I read the description, it really intrigued me. So I placed the order and as always Amazon was quick to deliver the item in an excellent condition. I’m a person who has always believed in something mysterious, the unfathomable way the nature works. I had also watched the ‘Ancient Aliens’ series on History TV and a new aspect of the ancient times opened the shutter of my mind. Then I came across this spectacular book. I’m just halfway through the book and it is mind boggling! No one has to believe anything blindly. This book provides us ample sources of unshakable evidences that extraterrestrial beings did visit our own planet. It is not fictitious! If we really open our eyes, the evidences are all around the world. A new and justified angle to see our past is bestowed on us by this remarkable book. And the mind is flooded with rivulets of thought that there indeed are traces of ‘unknown intelligences’ on our earth.P.S. as it can be seen from the image that the book is small in size but who said size matters!

Book quality was pirated
But it is a very good book to read if you are interested in Pyramids. One star less only for quality.

Out of the box thinking
When we see the world around us today, science has changed the way we think and live our lives, making things easier for us in every aspects. However, with the passage of time, science has blindfolded us to such an extent that anything beyond science is termed as madness. People also use science as a tool to their advantage and that is where the battle of supremacy comes in to play. Act of hiding details and the act of manipulation follows. When I think in my ideal time about various things, I realize that science is far behind, and knows little or nothing. Whether its about big bang theory or the human evolution, there are many unanswered questions. When I see the various beings in this world (humans, animals, birds, mammals, plants or anything like that), it makes me believe that just a coincidence of one comet hitting another would not have caused this beautiful creation. So the question comes to my mind, who created it and why? And that is where science imposes its ideas on us ignoring the historical facts and monuments. I believe the key to many of these questions lies not in the science, but in religious books and texts, which if we could interpret them correctly, would answer most of our questions.

Interesting content.
Must read this book if you believe in in ancient alien theory. Gives you insights of various events in the past around the globe which are difficult to explain today.

Dated, but still interesting for varied reasons
In 1968, it must have been an avant- garde publication. Now, in 2022, it is just a madcap book. While no alien sighting has actually been verified yet, the idea of aliens visiting us regularly, or even living among us incognito, has become all too quotidian. Even kids are familiar with the concept, thanks to animated series like Men in Black and Ben 10. Today, this book will only please die-hard believers in aliens who are likely to discover many “proofs” in support of their belief. What I find more interesting is the way the discourse on aliens in this book is still tinged with Americentrism and Eurocentrism. Of course, the author could not understandably overcome the common prejudices of his times. Nor could he have foreseen Asian (India and China’s) progress in space science in 1968. Still, the book reveals how Eurocentrism and Americentrism infect even apparently objective works. This makes it an interesting read for me.

Ramayan revisited
Wonderfully narrated the epic tale of Ramayan through Sita’s perspective. The narrative cuts the noise on the Great War which we are already aware of. It delves more on the simple version of the poignant tale of Queen Sita, how life treated her and leaves us with a deeper human touch on the hardships, her loneliness and her predicaments. Loved the read and the author has won hearts again.
