Bayes Rules!: An Introduction to Applied Bayesian Modeling (Chapman & Hall/CRC Texts in Statistical Science)

I highly recommend this book in your journey to Bayesian understanding and it is an excellent starting point. This is one of my core books in Bayesian along with the usual suspects (McElreath, Gelman, Krushchke). Get it even if you are an advanced Bayesian practitioner.
