4" Magnetic Aluminum Soft Jaws for 4" Vises

Someone had broken my vice. Bet the same person could tear up steel balls. Fixed the vice without tools. The Aluminum magnetic jaws worked perfectly. If I used and depended on the vice daily I would replace the broken jaw, then use the magnetic jaws over that. But, the Aluminum Jaws work great and easily removed if need be.

These vice Jaws have hundreds of uses, but my particular reason for purchasing them, I needed to hold round stock. The rubber and silicone jaws on the market will not work on a vertical mill because the work has to much movement and the part will lose accuracy. As you can see from the photos these aluminum jaws work perfectly for my application. Also they have strong magnets to attach to a steel vice.

Stays put on vise jaws, protects the work for ruining finely finished parts. Holds up well.

This is one of the best vice jaw designs i found simple and effective. Much to my dismay the neodymium magnets dont like the heat from torch welding so i had to drill new holes for heat resistant magnets i found elsewhere. They didnt even last one use. Great design though! Get SmCo magnets for it!

These sit low on the jaws which keeps them in place.

Nice simple magnetic pads for your vise. I have an old oddball 5-1/2" vise, so I purchased the 6" pads and trimmed the ends.Update: The first set worked so nicely, I bought a second set for my other vise.
