Question 1

Anyone have feed back on stablity vs height? I wan't to use it at 14" but it look like higer you go the less stable it will be?

Accepted Answer

This would likely depend most on your typing style. It can certainly go this high, but if you tilt the keyboard down (away from you) so the angle of your forearm from the elbow was more than 90 degrees it might help. This is how I used it, but I'm over 6 feet and it was comfortable to have this position for me.

Question 2

Can this tray be moved up and down easily? I like to sit for about 30% of the workday so it will be up and down frequently.

Accepted Answer

It can be a little tedious to do so. I also like to sit 20-30% of the day so I have the stand set and just take my keyboard off of it and set it on the desk for the non standing portion of the day.

Question 3

Is the laptop part of the table smooth or textured? In the picture it looks like there are little bumps. Thanks!

Accepted Answer

It is textured however it is still slick. There is a lip at the bottom that the keyboard rests against but if you put it at too much of an angle it can still slip over the top depending upon how the front of the Laptop is made. If you're using at that the flat angle to probably about 35 to 40ﾟ of an angle you'll be just fine. I use mine for D Jane and I have my DJ controller underneath it with the angle of the stand at a pretty sharp angle and I do just fine with it. I have an HP computer that I use that has a sloped front bottom part of the keyboard and so like a said if I get too much of an angle it can slip over the top but it's actually fairly difficult to do. The nice part is as it does have a mouse extension that you can put on either the left or right side of the keyboard stand. I actually use a trackball mouse so I can set my and on that extension wing and it doesn't move so I don't have to worry about actual space on where to put it since my mouse stay still and I just move the trackball. Hope this helps.

Question 4

What is the lowest height it can be adjusted to? I want to use while sitting at my desk. Currently I have my keyboard on a box that is about 2.5 in

Accepted Answer

WorkEZ Keyboard Tray collapses completely flat. It can be adjusted to about any height from flat on your desk up to 18" tall (measured from your desk to the base of the panel). The panel rotates in 15-degree increments letting you type with a neutral or negative wrist angle. In the collapsed state, it is about 2" thick. You can set up the WorkEZ Keyboard Tray so it is "collapsed" height-wise and can still angle your keyboard downwards to connect the mouse pad and reap the potential benefits of typing with your wrists drooping down naturally.Uncaged Ergonomics is happy to answer any questions you have via phone or email.
