Made in china, quality clearly shows that.
The item received is not what was pictured. I have not used this product yet but first impression is that it seems fairly flimsy and no where near as firm and rigid as large treble hooks used in the past. It is made in china and the quality clearly shows that. I think it may be ok for dragging the bottom to retrieve that net or rod that you or your kid knocked overboard but I wouldn't trust it continuously on anything of legitimate size and I definitely wouldn't trust it if I anticipated reeling in a trophy catch. I'm giving this item three stars as a fair middle of the road shake considering I have not used it yet. Upon usage, I will consider changing that.
