Avoogue Women's Long Raincoat with Hood Outdoor Lightweight Windbreaker Rain Jacket Waterproof

Just what I was looking for! I’m traveling to San Francisco in June with just a carry-on, and everyone says to pack lightweight layers. I’m also taking the ferry to Alcatraz, so I didn’t want to be cold—but I didn’t want a bulky coat or hoodie either. This jacket is super lightweight and packs into a cute little pouch that zips into the neck. It’s not scratchy, and the zipper feels smooth. I also love that it’s longer in the back, so if you sit on something wet or dusty, you stay clean and dry. I’m 5’3”, 130 lbs and got a Small. The waist hits a little high, but the elastic adjusts well. If you’re taller, it may sit more under the bust. Perfect for this type of trip!!

Really cute coat. Flattering as well. Not 100% waterproof but definitely water resistant. If you were to stand outside in a downpour you would eventually get wet. The coat paired with an umbrella and rain boots have kept me dry during this very rainy season. Would absolutely buy again.

Wonderful light weight jacket. The length and fit are fantastic and it’s hard finding something lightweight. I do find these to be over priced considering they are made off shore, with no store front and utilize limited materials for such a thin product. Yet somehow are charging prices now, which have been slowing creeping up to the previous in-store retail prices. As they lack the same overhead, I don’t feel this is justified. The jacket does have a bad plastic smell for a while, I needed to wash it a few times and leave it out on the deck for a few days to air out. But I haven’t found another with this length and thinness, and I’ve looked for a long time, which I was looking for and appreciate in my climate. (Southern BC - so this is great for those many warm, light rain days). The jacket also has that crinkle sound when wearing but hoping that will minimize over time with wear. The colour and style are five stars - but the smell and price point bring it down.
