The bike I ordered arrived damaged. Cracked headset locknut and damaged fork steer tube (see images). There was NO damage to the shipping box, so I believe the damage occurred before packing. The damage prevented me from assembling the bike. I contacted Firmstrong directly via telephone. They were extremely easy to deal with and confirmed to me on the same day that replacement forks and a new locknut would be shipped out immediately. The parts were received yesterday. I completed assembly and my daughter is now thoroughly enjoying her new bike! The bike itself is very nice quality. Assembly is extremely easy. once assembled, the bikes feels solid and rides smooth and effortlessly. I'm a single-speed fan, but my daughter wanted a multi-speed. The twist-shift grip works well. The gear transitions are appropriate. It's a quality bike I would recommend to others. Firmstrong was extremely pleasant to deal with in prompt replacement of damaged components.

I love this bike! For in-town commuting, it is everything I would expect. I haven't done any riding over 10 miles, so I'm not sure how it would hold up for longer rides. It would be nice if it had hand breaks, but for what I need, it does the trick! I'm glad I got the three-speed for getting up hills. It was also relatively simple to put together.

This bike came packaged well. Quality looks great. Assembly of bike took about 20 minutes. Adjusting handle bars and seat for rider was a little less. Shifting was great and with ease. The ride is good on grass and on pavement. Seat seams a little small, but we've not ridden the bike a long distance yet( less than a mile). As of now I give this bike a good rating.

This is a beautiful bike, but there is a big problem with the pedals. I got on it for the first time today and it will not pedal, it requires a repair. What are my options?

This bike is beautiful!!!! Seems well made. The problem is the bar is high for me. I’m 5’4” and moderately flexible and it’s hard for me to get my legs over the bar to ride. Which also means it’s hard to get off. So I’m fearful if it started falling for some reason I would be hurt because I would be entangled with the bike and fall all the way down. I wish I had been able to try it before buying it. As beautiful as it is I would not have bought it. It pretty much sits in the garage collecting dust because. Also it was not easy to put together particularly if adding the fender. Editing review and changed my stars because I realized I misread part of the description several times. The bike is designed for a women 5ft 6. Take that to heart unless you have long legs for your body. Beautiful bike

3 speed is excellent

I spent a lot of time shopping for a bike...and I kept coming back to this one. What a great purchase! LOVE THE BIKE. AND....all the other reviews talking about the great customer service from this company were right. UNBELIEVABLE customer service. REAL people to write emails to and get fast responses. The packaging was beyond excellent. Not a single scratch or dent which had been a major complaint with other bikes I considered. I was also astonished at how fast I received the bike! I ordered it on Wednesday afternoon and received it today, SATURDAY....incredible! EASY to assemble. (And I'm a blonde....LOL) Love this bike. Recommend it all the way.

Over all, this is a good bike. However, take note that there is a high possibility it will need adjustments. Most noticeable is wheel alignment and axil. I bought a male and female bike of the same brand, both three speeds and both 26 inches. Both bikes front wheels had a noticeable wobble. Her bike needed a spoke adjustment. My bike, the front wheel axil was not tight against the bearings with at least an 1/8 inch of horizontal slop. Both were SO unacceptable from wobble that I had to take the front wheels to a bike shop for adjustments. $$$ later, I'm happy with them now. As I said, good bike - but buyer beware.
