Sporto Women's Abbey Boot

I bought these pair of boots to replace the rubber rainboots that tore up on me. So far so good! I wore them out in light rain, and my feet remained dry and warm the entire time. They're also comfortable, as it gives plenty of space for your toes (my feet are standard width). The only minor problem I've had so far is that they do come in a half-size to a size bigger. I'm a 8 1/2 to 9, so I purchased the 8 1/2 based off of the other reviews. Even the 8 1/2 is a little big, but it hasn't bothered me so far.The fur lining in the boot stops about 2 inches down. It's fine for me, but it might bother those who are expecting a fully lined boot.

Feet want to slide to toe area, use insoles for better fit.

I LOVE these boots. Love. I live in northern New England. We know snow, and we know cold. I already have a pair of heavy Kamiks that I wear to play in the snow with the kids or sled, but I bought these as something that I could wear to the grocery store, or to and from work. I just wanted waterproof, with decent fashion. These exceeded my expectations. The grey is perfect to match with just about anything, and the little ruffle at the top is very feminine. The bottoms are non-slip and are perfect for icy conditions. They are mostly waterproof in that they were fine to walk through slushy lots all winter, but I probably wouldn't wade in a stream in them. They are warmer than expected. All told, I found myself often wearing them all day long at work with a a dress and tights, or even matching dress pants. They didn't appear to be clunky winter boots, and were extremely comfortable for all-day wear. I think they fit as sized. I can wear thicker socks and not have them be too tight either.

I usually like sporto, and the ones i have bought in the past were comfortable. These did not fit right. I am usually a size 81/2 in a boot. The right boot was snug, and the left was loose. An insole in the left boot did not help much, and also did not like the look of the boot looking down. Also, the footbed was not comfortable at all. Back they went. I will stick with totes from now on.

Omg I love these boots...to THINK that I actually wasn't gonna buy them because there was cheesy animal print on the inside. You can't see that part when they're on. I actually wore them all winter through snow and puddles and everything! I love them. I ruined them by wearing them everywhere and not taking care of them and wearing them all day at work, but when I replace them, I will take better care. Nice support, durable, nice grip.....I can take them off easily and the thing that makes me mad about some boots that go up past the ankle is that they lose structure and go all wrinkly or wobbly, these stayed in their shape wonderfully.. a fantastic boot, the sole absorbs ...uh..pressure? What am i saying, they are comfy all day. Your feet won't hurt. Five stars. I do recommend waterproofing. I usually use a spray and then don't touch them for a coupla days, but yeah great boots. Mwah mwah that's me kissing them.

These are my favorite boots and I always get compliments. I bought a pair about 5 years ago and when I had finally worn threw them I came to Amazon to find them again. Of course, I was not disappointment. These boots work with just about everything and are incredibly comfortable. When I first put them on they did feel a bit narrow (I also have flat feet) but after a few wears they seemed to have stretched out perfectly and are now fantastic. I recommend buying your regular size. They are warm for everyday wear but I would not recommend extended periods of time in snow or extreme colds as you will start to feel it in your toes.

Wouldn't even go over my instep.

I received these boots yesterday. I ordered the last one in 6 M Chestnut for less than $30, lucky me! They fit perfectly and the color matches the color in the picture. The quality feels very good. However it's not as warm as I expected. The inside is not full with fur as I thought. The fur is only there at the top around the openings. And when I tried them on, the fur came off a little bit and stuck on my pants. I haven't tested them in rainy days so I wouldn't know how much they are waterproof. Overally speaking, it's a fine product, worth buying especially for the price I paid.
