Does the led light at the front serve a purpose? is it useful for ironing in a dim light? thank you

It flashes to show the iron is switched on. When it stops flashing the iron beeps and is ready to use. I eould say it is not bright enough to iron in a dim light.

Can you re fill the tank and keep on ironing?

I turn it off, but it is ready almost as soon as you finish filling it
