Emboldened by the great Moong Pani by the same company that makes the Khichari Kit, we had bought this to try it out. When my wife made it one evening for dinner, I thought it was home made, until my wife told it was the Khichari Kit! Very pleasantly surprised - loved the great taste and also the great texture of the rice and moong beans. We will have this often...it is easy and quick to make, and so versatile too!

We were looking for a warm, homey and healthy meal to make for a vegan friend’s baby shower and this worked out perfectly! We added some sautéed veggies and made a delicious meal that everyone loved, especially on a cold day. Whether hot or cold, everyone loved it and wanted to know how we made it. It was easy, just add water and simmer!

Easy to make and tasty! The remnant of the curry is strung afterwards.

This made it all easy for me to prepare without having to buy all the separate ingredients and spices! Yum!

I only tried this prepared prepackaged mix because I thought it might be good for when I travel. I wasn’t very happy with the spices used the flavor was not to my liking, and the texture was not to my liking either.I will just continue to make my own.

This is truly amazing product!! I am so happy I found something that’s easy to make in 15-20 min. I just put it in my small rice cooker and I have amazing kitchri in no time. It’s great for the kids and the baby loves it too.

Very easy to prepare and the serving size is relatively big. I love the tastes of all the spices. This will now be a staple in my WFPB lifestyle!

Delicious! So tasty! Perfect to make the night before and take the next day as a part of lunch. Great how you can make as much or as little the amount you want, especially for a single person.

I followed the suggestion on the package and added chopped tomatoes, some minced garlic and softened onions. I did not add bouillon any other extra ingredients, and yet it was so rich and flavorful. I enjoyed the herb and spice blend in it. Very delicious! Very convenient and easy to prepare - especially after work when you want some thing fast and comforting. The healthy ingredients are exactly what I look for. Excellent product! But it's just too pricey. If it were more reasonably priced I would buy it regularly.So....I bought some more...in spite of the price. It's just too delicious!

I had first tried this Khitchari Kit from the One of a Kind Show in Toronto… and I loved it. So I bought more from Amazon. It is as delicious as ever… but…. As I looked closer… I saw some wormies in my batch! I have not been as passionate about this meal since.
