My husband is a bourbon fanatic and I thought this would be a fun gift. It definitely is, and he loves the flavor the smoking ads. Our biggest complaint is it's hard to get the wood chips lit and to stay lit. Once we succeed in that, the smell is amazing so I would still recommend the chips themselves. I'm just not sure about the overall design.

This is a great buy for the money! It does function as stated. For what you get I would recommend this product. Personally I want a little more smoke, so I modified it by drilling the same size holes out and adding more also! Works awesome now;)

Got this for my husband who loves his whiskey. He is fascinated by this. Loves bringing out when we have guests. They are always impressed!

This is item is quite giftable. I purchased it for myself but if I wanted to give as a gift I could. The only issue was that even after I added butane the torch didn’t really work much at all.

We filled this with butane and pulled the trigger, and it sparked once and never again. I posted this in my review on Amazon, and the manufacturer got in touch with me and tried to help me fix it. I still couldn't get it to work, so they sent a partial refund. The rest of the kit is very nice—we kept it to use with another manufacturer’s torch, and are really enjoying our smoky cocktails.

I bought this kit at the end of June 2022 and by mid-September 2022, the torch has completely stopped working. We have tried everything we can think of to get it going again, but no luck. The wood chips and smoker chimney work well but you will need a better torch. When torch was working, we had to really blast the wood chips with the flame until they started burning and smoking a lot. Only then would smoke go into the glass...once the lid is added to the chimney, the fire goes out and it no longer smokes. I agree with another reviewer that said the holes in the chimney need to be a bit bigger.

It's really hard to get the smoke to stay in the glass for a picture. You'll have to buy your butane separately. You will get the flavor of some of the woods chips in your drink.
