Will the charger turn off when batteries are fully changed?

The lights go out when they are topped up. The charger is not fast, count on overnight (5-6) hrs. But that's likely better for the cells over fast / hot charge. I am pleased. I have 4 sets of AA and 2 chargers, I use them in high draw photo-electronic flashes.

does it plug into the wall as well as USB

Yes - There is a 110 plug that flips out of the back.

Can these corrode like traditional batteries?

Not sure as I am constantly using the same 40 AA batteries and this product is a big savings and better for the environment than disposables.
