The letters are much smaller than advertised.

I am not sure how to explain this correctly, but the decals are placed on a wall by pressing on the letters through backing with a piece of hard plastic (it is provided for you and it's like a long lightweight credit card). You just line up the 'graph' to your wall, use the 'scraper' to press the letters thoroughly, and then peel off the backing. I love these types of decals because there is no extra plastic around the words. Each letter is individually placed on the wall, not individually placed on the wall by you, although it looks like it. It just makes the verse more stunning looking on the wall.
