THis thing is EPIC
I love it. Its big and square so you have a lot of room, this makes things so much easier Not only does it heat up much faster but it also cools down much faster also, giving you total heat control. The nonstick surface seems to be of decent quality, no issues so far after using a few times. I like how it is textured so air can get underneath what you are cooking, this makes it even better at being nonstick. I love this thing, cooking and cleaning with it is so easy, and everytime i cook with it the food comes out cooked to perfection. Money well spent 10/10 value.

A good bargain and it performs very well!
This is an excellent, large capacity electric fry pan. It is very suitable for home use. The controls are easy to use, set up and cleanup are very easy and the clear lid fits snugly. It is nice looking and performs very well for sauteing, pan frying and it also works easily when frying things like fried chicken or fish and chips. I have not used it for braising meats, but I have no doubt at all that it would accomplish this task effortlessly. It has a non-stick surface, so DO NOT use metal utensils or metal cleaning pads on it!!! I have had mine for 4 years now and it shows no signs of wear or tear - just treat it gently, clean it with respect & love and it will last you a long time. It arrived on time and was carefully packed. The price was reasonable and the quality was very good. Highly recommended!

Fantastically large , nonstick and cooks beautifully
Best electric skillet ever. I have used a 12"x12" forever and I would have gotten a bigger one if they existed. This one is huge and even if you were to only fill it 1/4 of the way, nothing spills over the edges. The non stick surface is truly non stick, so easy to clean. It says to use plastic utensils... I love crunchy fried potatoes and used my metal spatula , not only did nothing stick it did not scratch. The five pounds of fried potatoes browned up/ cooked within 30 minutes with the vented glass top on. You do need a big area to place it to cool, but does have some weight to it so it stays wear u put it. The element part of the plug has thumb lever that needs to be depressed to remove it after use, eliminates accidentally pulling it out if you move it. This deep electric frying pan will be multi use... it's big enough to "bake" a whole chicken dinner. The cost is a little higher than the smaller ones , but it's well worth the price for the versatility, cooking space and durability. Would definately buy this again if I had to... but I have a feeling this will last a long time.

CONVENIENT and VERSITILE
The perfect skillet for those of us who are serious about meal preparation but who are still stuck in a "College Dorm Student" and/or "Bachelor Pad" minimalist mindset. Wide enough to prepare several varieties of items together at the same time without necessarily having to resort to any additional cooking appliances, and Deep enough to handle a variety of soup/stew/casserole, etc. creations -- Frying, Griddling, Boiling, it's got you covered! ~ And it's relatively SPACE-SAVING! The "rectangular" shape means not only more versatile cooking space, but also ensures a more even heating than what you'd get from a typical "square" electric frypan (which generally use a "circular" heating element, which is always guaranteed to leave "cold spots") -- and the way the heating element in this unit configured (what they refer to as an "M-configuration") guarantees one of the best evenly distributed heated surfaces you can get with these devices. Add on top of that a "glass" lid with a venting hole, and the only thing you may think of that might've been a trade-off will be during those times when you would've appreciated having a "domed" lid instead. The "pouring notch" is the only inclusion which seems like a welcome addition but is in reality more trouble than it's actually worth: to have made this feature truly effective, it should've been designed with a "protruding lip" to aid in giving a more precision & controlled pouring flow -- just use the typical "pour out at the corner" method if you're not fond of mopping up spilled contents after the fact. Despite its being heavy and sturdy, there are still a couple of areas of concern: One being that the "Non-Stick" surface will gradually lose its effectiveness, which I suppose is to be expected with all of such items, but any "peeling" (perhaps due to the "pitted" surface design?) will not be readily noticeable; and Secondly, DON'T DROP THIS THING!!! ...as the plastic handles are of the variety which WILL break upon impact! Overall however, this was the best non-stick electric frypan purchase within a reasonable price range I'd ever made in all of my years of flying solo... so much so that this review is being provided on what was actually my SECOND purchase of this identical item! (see note above re: "fragile plastic handles") Consider this an ENDORSEMENT.

Best electric skillet ever
It is very large and it cooks all over the heat is even. No hot spots love it. The hard part is the washing of the pan. It wonโt fit in my dishwasher. I have to wash by hand. I love it !!!

Not 100% perfect, but works well
This is the third one I've bought in the last few years and the only complaint I have is the handles seem to be a little fragile for its use. But I love it for cooking. Its a larger one so for big families or large gatherings, its great.

This is for the EG-6023, Extra Deep, 16" x 13" x 3.2" Skillet
Just for those considering an electric skillet, you really can't beat the price point for this unit's large cooking area and truly even heat distribution, on top of the super easy to clean and really, really non-stick surface. One of the things that was a big frustration with round skillets is the heat element that only heats directly above the element. This unit is a rectangle - 16" x 13" - which doesn't sound like much but when you see it, it's really big. Plenty of room to cook and I appreciate that it's over three inches deep, making it easy to flip foods without any going overboard. And, as for the heating elements, they're all over the bottom of the skillet so when you're cooking, ALL your food gets cooked evenly and at the same time. Plus, this thing is big enough and sits high enough that you can slide a couple of plates, (I would take caution if your plateware is plastic), UNDER the cooking surface to warm them up before you serve your meal. I always put my cooked food on warm plates so that the food doesn't cool off while sitting on a cold plate. I used to have to warm them in the microwave, but now I can keep them right in front of me while I cook. For the price, you just can't beat it. I spent a lot of time researching before buying this model, some were cheaper by a few bucks and many were a lot more, $20 to $100 more, but I would recommend this product over all of them. You won't be sorry. Again, this product review is for the large 16" x 13" ONLY. I read elsewhere that people had similar issues with cooking elements on smaller units where they only use ONE heating element and you end up with the same problems while cooking. I highly recommend that you spend the extra few bucks to get this larger unit, (it's really amazing how large it is when sitting on your counter), and whether it's a first time purchase or replacement buy, get the bigger one.

Great skillet!
I absolutely love this skillet! Honestly, this is my third one. Gotta be honest here, I use this thing multiple times a week. The first one, the heating elements quit working as well as I liked and I replaced it after a year. The second one? That's all on me. I cooked some food in it that I probably shouldn't have. I soaked it for several hours, lost patience and scrubbed it a bit too hard. I took that beautiful coating off and gave it grey spots. The bad part was every time I wiped it, little black flakes kept showing up on my cloth. Definitely not cooking with it again. I did try another skillet between the first and second and honestly, it did not heat the food even close to evenly, so I came back to Elite. If you cram a ton of food into this pan, the edges do cook a bit slower. Flip it over and look at the elements to get an idea. Overall, this pan does heat evenly. When I'm being ambitious on the amount of food I've slammed in there, I just rotate the side suff inwards halfway through. I always hand wash and put a bit of olive oil in it after use. Reading the temperature gauge is a pain in the bottom because of it's location. Not a huge deal, if it's too hot, I turn it down. The lid is nice and sturdy, I like that I can leave a spoon on the edge and put the lid on if I want.

Checks all the boxes
EXCELLENT in every way. Solid, deep, non stick with a honeycomb design that not only is non-stick but actually helps make clean up easier. The handy release lever is itself worth getting this pan for. No more burning my hand touching a hot probe handle (yes, other probes get warm) and having to pull quite hard to get them to come out. Temp goes up very high and their M design for the element underneath REALLY does keep the WHOLE surface hot, rather than just the usual element which just goes around in a square/rectangle. This release lever is everything! As soon as we received ours and checked it out and saw how fine a product it is, we immediately ordered another one. Received it today. Couldn't be happier and couldn't recommend enough. We use ours for meats and eggs but we use it every single day to steam/saute/stirfry veggies. GREAT electric skillet!

Great pan, knob for lid way off to one side
The only thing that is weird is the knob/handle for the lid is off to one side so when you pick it up it tilts that way. I am not sure if that was a mistake or on purpose but it does make it a little awkward. You have to make sure your arm is not close to that side or the steam will burn you.

Excellent pan!! wide and deep
Wow, I love this pan; the quality is excellent, and it's huge, covering a little more than half of a standard stove top in width. The pan is also very deep, which I like,e you could easily cook an entire meal for an average family in one go It heats up quickly and evenly, the non-stick is truly non-stick, and the clean up was simple; a wet paper towel took care of it. Overall, I would highly recommend this pan
