malu Floor Chair Padded w/Back Support - Japanese Chair Meditation Cushion

Man this thing is sturdy! I was not expecting it to hold up but it's quite strong, even for a full grown man. (You can't sleep on it, at least I haven't tried yet haha, but it's enough to provide back relief and allows you to relax without fear of it collapsing back) Pros: - Can hold a decent amount of weight via the back support - Comfortable - Easy to adjust - Durability decent ( As long as you take care of it, especially the Velcro strap. - Portability Cons: - It is quite bulky, so it's hard to fit in a suitcase for traveling.

Needed a floor chair while I wait for my couch to come in. Needed something to last at least a month. A lot of floor chairs on Amazon seem to be for children, which is my guess as to why many people report breakage on other chairs after a couple weeks. I don't have time for that, for I am not a child. I'm 5'8" and weigh 150. The Malu looked promising, so I spend the extra bucks on it. I've had it for three weeks now, and it holds up. I can rock back and forth on it without worry that it will break. The various position help for either working on my computer while sitting at my coffee table, all the way to reclining and watching a movie. It's comfortable, lightweight, and my girl fights me for it so I wish I'd gotten another haha. the only thing I would recommend to not rip the upholstery is to get off it when you're adjusting the back. if you push it all the way flat while sitting on the other end, the fabric stretches which I think would accelerate wear and tear.

Great floor chair. Adjusting to the perfect reclining position can be tricky but doable. I find it comfortable and rock-able. I can do my stretches with a padded seat now. Just being at floor level feels very grounding. I don’t see it as being very portable. A little too clumsy and it doesn’t fold tightly. I have the green, I love the color, it’s teal. Soft durable fabric and leather head protection. Well made and worth the price. 4 stars due to the portability factor.

I bought this chair because I like to sit in the floor while I do homework, but wanted something that gave me cushioning on my butt and supported my back. With this chair I may as well be sitting on the floor still. I can feel the metal running through the inside of the chair while I’m using it and the back doesn’t stay up unless it’s up against a wall. It may work for small (and I mean like 2-3 year olds) children, but anyone over the age of 5 and this chair is a complete waste of money. Even my 13 year old can’t use it...........after my review I heard from the company and Matt could not have been any nicer to me. He wanted to know what exactly my problems were and what he could do to rectify it. Currently I am waiting for a replacement chair and will update my review accordingly, but I did change my rating to 3 stars from 1 based on the customer service alone. It’s an amazing breath of fresh air to purchase from a company that actually cares about its product and the customers purchasing it. Thank you, Matt!.......update 3......after receiving my new chair I am very pleased! It’s bigger than the last one and the padding/cushioning is much better!! I no longer feel the bars running through the chair, it’s just nice and comfy to sit on. I can sit this chair wherever I want and it works perfectly. With this updated version, I would recommend to anyone. The chair is perfect and the customer service from Malu can not be beaten!!! I would purchase this again no problem!

While I am a vine voice, i bought this product myself. I bought this for me as I am a remote worker and my office is my bed during the winter when downstairs is freezing. As you can see from the pics it is not as firm and sturdy as the advertisement picture. I was really looking for something that can stand firm without a bed board, so I can change positions and sit on te edge of the bed. I bought another brand for my daughter and same issue, not as firm probably due to the vacuum packaging maybe breaking down the foam, or the product was never that firm to begin with. This product simply is not as advertised. While it is comfortable, with soft fabric covering, it is not as firm as advertised. Did come with the roll cushion for the head, (that’s what the buttons are for), but it flops either to the front or to the back of cushion it doesn’t stand firm like the advertisement. If you are looking for something more firm that could stand straight on its own like me, you might pass on this one!

I have back problems and heard that floor sitting could help (the thought process being that chairs are too comfy and do the sitting for us. Sitting on the floor means constantly engaging muscles to keep balanced and comfortable. This builds up muscle strength that gets lost from excessive chair use). Between gaming and homeschooling my kids, I spend a fair amount of time at a computer so I built a little floor desk and got this chair to give it a try. I'm not cured by any means, but after two weeks of this I'm sitting noticeable straighter and my back is actually able to pop on its own for the first time in years. I'm even able to get up off of the floor unassisted, which is a thought I would have laughed at a month ago. The chair itself is incredibly well made. The multiple angles mean I can even kick back and lounge while watching a movie, or lay it flat if I want to meditate a little. The microsuede fabric has been incredibly easy to clean and feels durable. The padding isn't super thick, and that's something that I thought was going to be a deal breaker. But the longer I use this chair, the less I notice the padding-in a good way. With my old desk chair, after thirty minutes or so the chair would feel so hard and uncomfortable that I would grab a pillow to sit on. This one compresses to a pleasant firmness that doesn't feel like I'm sitting on concrete. I HIGHLY recommend this chair to anyone who asks about it.

I believe sitting on the floor as opposed to furniture is really good for humans. Mainly our spine, joints, and core. This chair is a great bridge, especially for those who need a little extra support as they transition out of regular chairs and couches. I use this in my room daily and pack it with me for workshops, ceremonies, etc. They are far better than standard back jacks usually provided at most events. They offer far more support and there is padding over the support areas so you don't have a metal bar digging into your glutes sits bones. Easy to wash the cover too. The teal color and sleek design definitely catch attention and everyone always asks about it. I should probably get sponsored as I think I am unitedly selling a lot. 🤔

The chair is comfortable and supportive, but it takes up a lot of space and is heavier than expected. Overall, it’s a good option for floor seating and meditation.

J'ai vue ce genre ce chaise chez mes Grands parents à Tokyo j'ai donc decidé d'en prendre. C'est top et sympas mais on peut sentir l'armature au niveau des fesses, j'ai du ajouter de la mousse. La posture est agreable et est reglable et cela permet de travailler sur une table de salon ou un PC de salon. J'ai aimé ressentir l'ambiance de la maison familiale.

Haben es gekauft um bequem beim Baby am Boden zu sitzen. Erfüllt dafür seinen Zweck, aber schon nach kurzer Zeit ging der Stoff kaputt - die Funktion stört das nicht, aber die Optik - leider nicht sehr haltbar.

Devo dire che mi trovo benissimo, è comoda, robusta e anche bella. Se meditate o fate cerimonie di altro tipo è consigliabilissima.
