WOW!! Relief at last!
I'm glad to see that Nexium has become available over the counter so no more to need to pay the doctor every 6 months to get a refill! Nexium is the BEST anti-acid that I have ever used, for myself it doesn't cause stomach discomfort like others similar do and it also REALLY works at controlling your acid reflux when taken properly. I personally feel relief all day and night when I take it so I don't really have to worry about what I'm eating in that sense. I have GERD and it was so bad that sometimes I would wake up at night with acid and burning all the way up to my throat where I would feel like I couldn't breathe and I would chug water bottle after water bottle and chew up some Tums or just deal with the acid until it subsided hours later! Even though it says that it can take 4 days to effect you mine seem to kick in soon after taking it! I will forever buy Nexium!! It truly has been my little lifesaver! Pros: Everything!!! THIS WORKS!!! Cons: When you run out of Nexium and have an acid flare up!! Do I recommend this? Absolutely! 100%

Can't live without em
Gotta take one everyday the rest of my life cause if not, I'm breathin fire. Nexium junky for life! They work good and the alternative is not an option anymore. They usually take a day or 2 to really start working but after that it's all smooth sailing.

Effective, but works only as long as it is taken, with unknown long term effect
These are very effective, as effective as much more expensive prescription medication I have taken previously. Directions say to take for two weeks, then stop for 4 months, however symptoms reoccur within a few days. So, it isn't much good if taken as directed and worrisome if it is taken continually. Better check with your gastroenterologist first ...
