MY SKIN CANCERIn the last three years, I’ve developed facial skin cancer and pre-cancerous cells that had to be either surgically removed or frozen off. As a man, I’m not overly fussy, but my dermatologist strongly urged me to take better care of my skin. I now buy a high end facial cleanser (coincidentally also made in South Korea). I also now use a facial serum. I ran out of the serum for men that I’ve been using, so I decided to try this product.CACTUS – “TREHALOSE”What caught my eye, was the picture of a cactus plant on this product’s description page. I have eaten “nopales” all my life, and I am well aware of its somewhat slimy gel-like texture (which disappears when cooked properly). It turns out, cactus contains “trehalose” which helps it survive the harsh, dry desert conditions in which it thrives. It was logical to me that this would be good for moisturizing my face.SOOTHING MOISTURE AFTER SHAVING – CLEAR, ABSORBS WELL, SMELLS GOOD – DOES FIRM SKINThis serum does indeed excel at moisturizing. It’s quite soothing after shaving my face. It goes on clear, quickly absorbs into skin and, as a bonus, has a pleasant scent. My primary goal is moisture and nourishment. However, as this serum dries on the skin, it gently tightens it. I was surprised to see my eye wrinkles disappear!FINAL THOUGHTSThis serum, like most, contains nourishing vitamins and hyaluronic acid (which I’ve learned works really well to moisturize). The trehalose in this product must be doing something right because I noticed this serum works better than my old brand. The clever self-priming dropper is a pretty cool feature of this product’s delivery method (photo attached). Overall, this is an awesome serum that I highly recommend for anyone who wants to take good care of their face.

Terrazen Age Control Treatment Peptide & Collagen SerumThis is a super nice serum that has no scent. It does a fine job at moisturizing my super dry skin but it is not quite enough even when used with the Terrazen night cream. I think this will work best on normal to oily skin. The dispenser works well and one dropper is enough to cover my face and it feels really watery and dries down quickly. It is a bit on the sticky side. I just need a bit more to help with the dryness. My wife uses a lot of anti-aging skincare products everyday, including a wide variety of serums. I ordered this serum for her to try as it seemed like a good product from South Korea. After using the whole bottle applying it AM/PM for a month, my wife says that this serum by Terrazen could use a lot of improvements. The consistency is watery and not at all moisturizing. Not only that, but the serum doesn’t fully absorb and instead leaves a slight tacky coating. Also, there was no anti-aging effects to be seen, even when pairing it with the matching nutrition cream. This serum was an overall disappointment. The ingredients looked promising, but the effects were mediocre. For the price, my wife does not think this serum is worth it and would recommend trying something else, especially if you’re looking for results.

Refer to my photos for how this applies and looks on the skin. It’s a nice thin serum that absorbs into the skin almost instantly. Feels comfortable. Not sticky. Does not pill even under foundation.It does have a slight floral fragrance to me, but did not cause any irritation. I only used it every other day under my moisturizer. I also used it on occasion as a hydrating primer under my make up to help hide any dry texture.It’s an affordable hydrating serum and my skin liked the ingredients. Only complaint is that my bottle was not closed when I got it.
