I thought these would be great for germinating seeds hydroponically, to be later transferred to soil when they were big enough. Buying these was a huge mistake.I tried germinating at least 6 different types of plants. Not one of them were able to penetrate the rockwool with their roots. Not one.These plugs got so moldy too. Besides the 4 that germinated, 2 of them were just overwhelmed with mold that killed the seeds. I've been using rockwool from a different company to germinate seeds and none of them had these issues. It's only been with this brand.Not even sure if I've passed the return window, I'll have to check. I definitely would NOT recommend these, not at all.
