Build Quality and Design The 18/10 stainless steel construction is the defining advantage of the Venus over the classic aluminium Moka Express. The body feels dense and purposeful, the base sits flat and stable on the hob, and the walls of the boiler are noticeably thick. This little moka pot is so so cute. I simply love it. 🥰 Most important of all, it is made of stainless steel. It is a bit more expensive than others: I presume that a half of the cost goes to the brand marketing.

I’ve been using the Bialetti Venus for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. The stainless steel build feels durable and looks elegant on my stove. Functionally, it’s straightforward—just fill, heat, and enjoy. It produces rich, smooth coffee with excellent crema and a bold taste that rivals my espresso machine. The coffee comes out piping hot every time, and the handle stays cool enough to pour easily. Cleaning is simple too. If you want a no-fuss, high-quality brew with a modern aesthetic, this is it. Highly recommend!

Loved the moka pot did exactly what it should however the handle has fallen off. I treated it as it should be as per instructions it appears to have been stuck on I got it in may I don’t think they should fail so easily

The 6 cup version brews one cup of coffee, and even then only because I like a lot of milk. Do not buy this thinking you'll get six cups of coffee, or even six shots of espresso (it doesn't brew strong enough for that). But, as a solo coffee maker, it's very good. I'd say it tastes on a par with my AeroPress, it's about as easy to use, and it's much nicer to look at. There's a reason these things are traditionally octagonal: this circular profile makes it very hard to grip when you try to screw the sections together, especially when the bottom is full of hot water. So you need some non-slip oven gloves. But it is much prettier than the traditional moka pots.

It is high quality. Instructions warn not to put it in the dishwasher, only use water to clean it, and make and throw away 3 coffees before drinking from it. This helps remove any contamination and metallic or chemical taste from manufacturing. The only thing I don't like about the design is the handle; it has a hole for a screw where you naturally put your forefinger, and it feels uncomfortable and sharp. I have adapted the way I hold it to avoid this. The volume of coffee of the 4 (espresso) cup is fine for me, but for people used to long coffees from a machine, or for sharing, they would probably prefer the largest size. I have used it on a gas hob and a camping gas (butane propane mix) stove, and both worked fine. Not used on induction, but it's supposed to work. Note, the smallest size is not suitable for induction.

誕生日プレゼントとして別タイプのビアレッティ製エスプレッソメーカーを注文していましたが、在庫切れのため約1か月後、誕生日の2日前にAmazonからキャンセルされてしまいました。もう少し早く連絡があれば助かったのですが、幸いまだ2日余裕があったため、急いでビアレッティ ヴィーナスを注文しました。結果、翌日に到着し、Amazonの配送対応はとても迅速で助かりました。 実際に使ってみると、操作はとてもシンプルで、洗いやすく扱いやすいです。コーヒー豆（粉）をきちんと選べば、美味しいエスプレッソをしっかり抽出できます。以前ビアレッティのコーヒーパウダーでは好みに合わない経験がありましたが、このエスプレッソメーカー自体は本当に素晴らしい商品です。 素材もしっかりしていて、高級感があります。ブロンズカラーもとても魅力的で、キッチンに置いておくだけでもおしゃれです。 私はIHコンロを使用していますが、ヴィーナスの底面がIHの加熱部分より少し小さかったため、IH対応プレートを下に敷いて使用しました。問題なく使え、抽出も成功しました。IHをお使いの方はサイズ確認とプレートの使用をおすすめします。
